JO and Faridi: The RUN-CLOTHING Relationship
According to BangladesherKhela, JO has very good friendship with actor Humayun Faridi. JO gets a branded shirt from Faridi everytime he scores a half-century. Faridi promised even attractive gift for JO for his performance in the World Cup.
Based on this RUN-CLOTHING relationship between JO and Faridi, I think the gift list should go like this:
For Scoring a Century (100+)
For Scoring a Half-Century (50+)
For Scoring a Quarter-Century (25+)
For Scoring a Half-Quarter-Century (13+)
For Scoring a Semi-Half-Quarter-Century (7+)
For Anyting Above a Duck (1+)
Now you know why JO barely scores any Duck in ODI.
Becasue Faridi is a very reasonable person and does not give any gift to JO for scoring a duck. So, In his 53 match ODI career over the last 13 years, JO scored duck only once.
If the above gift-list is in fact true, then JO's closet should have the following branded items from Faridi:
NO Long Sleeve Shirt
9 Short Sleeve Shirt
7 Sleeve-less Shirt
11 Under Wear
25 Handkerchief

Great stuff Babubangla! LMAO.
I don't think though JO will get a chance to win a Rumal in this WC. My prediction is that the only times he can get inside the field is when he has a water bottle in his hands.

Now, i know why our players like to get OUT in the mid twenties... they can get "Sleeve-less Shirts" which is very comfortable convenient for Bangladeshi weather.
Anyways, Babubangla bhai at his usual best!

Great post by Babu Bangla.
I read the article in BangladesherKhela. I was not interested to read this thread as I thought it would be boring and nothing new to me. Now I find I missed a day of real fun.
Now I understand why Ash always wears Gangi ("Sleeve-less Shirts") and why he doesn't want to score big except going to be photographed with Mona Lisa.

LOL! What makes this thread even more funny for me personally is the fact that I just bought those soccer/football/basketball motiff briefs for my little one.

হায়রে ফযল! For those whose minds are not as warped as the mousy one's - I was obviously talking about my toddler who is dealing with pottie training. And NOT about anything else ..

Guys javed was taken to the team for what he does best... 12 th man! He will be playing alright but not batting... So the gifts should assorted to how many runs he saves... I think he will earn a full sleeve any day.
