Default In Hamilton

OK, so I finally got here, with only one hiccup.

I'm installed in a backpackers about a kilometer from the ground, and should be able to provide daily reports. The weather is vaguely kind of warm and muggy, with mixed cloud and sunshine.

I'm expecting a very small crowd, and media coverage here has been minimal.

Ian, don't be afraid to go and talk to our players and give them a piece of your mind.

me and my buddy had no problems in the caribbean getting post game access to the boys, although they seemed busy with post series stuff and ashraful seemed quite uninterested to hang with us for a second.

Thanks Ian for your thread.I am happy u r there.Hope we ll get some news from you.
As per your statement weather is hot, that will be interesting.Shamakal also published that weather is a bit hot. That means weather is not perfect for seamers??If so then be careful about tigers they can be dangerous in hot humid condition.Any way do u have any idea about the humidity?

I understand why. Its because us fans will often kiss ppl's feet when they do great, and sometimes the same people will swear at them in the most revolting of ways when they do bad. Ash has had so much of this experience, both positive and negative, he just doesn't want to get caught in it all anymore. Same for Indians and Pakistanis. Sri Lankans are very friendly...as good as or better than the aussies, because of the very fact that they won't get booed or thrown bottles at by their "fans" when they are doing bad. Rest of us struggle to put sports into context.Which is the very reason BC, ICF and PakPassion go so well.

If tendulkar agreed to have lunch with me, just think what I, if a fan, would do. I'd ask for his no., facebook if he has it, his family details, and then post all "private" photos we might take hanging out into BC or ICF. So why would he?

Go IanW and show glimpses of your 24'' biceps if any of the players does anything wrong in the field, they'd know what to do next.

By the way, I aint joking. He does.

Last game against Imrul at 21.4 overs where Imrul swept him, Vettori's heal was clearly up with white line visible from the side. That happened again at 23.6. That one went for 4.

Ian, we want ball by ball commentary. Even if we're watching it online.

The heal doesn't have to be grounded, as long as it is behind the white line.

Humidity is high, and there's been some rain already this morning. Its not what I'd call hot, but then I'm from what the locals quaintly call 'Aussie'.

Clouds are grey and threatening serious rain, and the local weather report is for showers this afternoon.

I'll be taking two hats - a white one to keep the rain off, and a red one with a feather in it for you guys to notice me ... the red hat comes out when the Tigers are on a killing spree.

I wont have internet at the ground unless I can beg some wireless off media.

Ian
