IPL in Bangladesh?

Thats the talk,for the first part of the tournament.
South Africa ruled out as they want all the tournament.
UAE is the other option.

no way can we handle world cup and ipl back to back.Our stadiums dont have that much stamina.

Cheaper for BCCI too,accomadation and flights,also UAE still has fixing worries over it.

We barely have 1 or 2 players in IPL, no direct influence to our players.
Meantime, BD can make some money if the infrastructure allows such!

Ita not happening in bangladesh. We dont have big stadiums. Mirpur has only 25000 seats. Ctg 16000.

Exactly. Also it is suppose to start right after WC. IPL is almost as big as a WC in terms of teams involved. I don't think it's possible. I wouldn't mind if it happened. BCB will make some good money. Better load up on cash now, who knows what will happen when the new ICC goes live.

In CI Indians are complaining that BD have unequally small boundaries, top edges go for sixes so they don't want the matches in BD. Lolz... how long would it take for them to forget those sixes from Afridi..

The last time ipl was held in SA they showed in tv that the teams are supporting many small clubs there with coaching and other stuffs. Even in the end ipl sponsors gave huge amount of money to some of the clubs for development. I won't mind if we get some great offers from them.

I wouldn't mind if the IPL games were held in Bangladesh. Would give us the fans, more opportunity to watch some big names in action and those stars who have retired from international cricket. Plus, BCB can fill their pockets with some cash.

I was going to mention our small boundary line? Does this make a big difference? I mean look at WI players. They just have to touch the ball and it goes for 6. With that logic, small boundary should be advantage for our small bodied players. The question is, what happens when we play in stadiums with larger boundary? Wouldn't that obviously make it difficult for lets say, Mominul? The shorts will either turn into a 4 or get caught.

Yes, it is confirmed that couple of matches probably 1 part will be played in UAE and couple more in Bangladesh. This time it would be interesting to play fantasy league ipl due to so many changes. Also I really liked to see if Yuvraaj is worth that money :P
