Is this a world record by Pilot?
Here is Pilot's captaincy record:
Played 12 Tests, 26 ODIs
Lost 12 Tests, 24 ODIs
No-result 2 ODIs.

That's a world record and Pilot will hold that record till the day of Judgement.
And that's enough for record. Please no more matches under his captaincy and no more defeats.

It is the joint world record for most Tests captained without a single win, but he is good company ( http://tinyurl.com/kzwpu)

U r wrong Mod
Pilot managed to loose all matches as a Captain which is not the case for Botham
He is unique in this looser category

pilot is indeed a terrible captain, but even after all these its hard to imagine a BD team without Pilot at this point(with Bashar out, and the team morally down). The poor kid Mushfique will falter for sure. But he shud get a chance to play the 5th ODI.

I don't know why, but Pilot is the one who helps all captains in field-placements and other staffs; and yet, he manages to lose every match that we're expected to win.

pilot is good in strategy making but that doesn't make you captain. Players have to be ready to give their life up for the captain and they have to believe that they will get backup from their captain. But pilot is indiscipline in his life and he probably leave his player to save his *** (don't believe me ok look at the run out from the last match with reza. reza's score was 30 who just hit a 6 in last ball, its no brainier that he should have given his wkt up but instead he stayed their to save his captaincy and place)

Comes down to leadership skills and being able to communicate and motivate people from a leadership position. As a member of the team, he performs admirably and is one of the few consistent (BD standard) contributors for the team. He is always vocal and most times in control of the situation behind the stumps. However, he probably does not have the necessary skills or finasse to lead this men and boys.
He could easily be unlucky. However, losing (going from 1-1 to 1-3) to an inexperienced Zimbabwe side in a series that was sopposedly ours to lose cannot be just bad luck. Hopefully BCB will give a break to a newbie and allow Pilot to do what he does best - Keep.

Going by the thread, looks like PIlot finally did it. A win after all this time. He owes a big Thanks you to Rajin and Nafees. Razzak and Saqibul performed well. All four of them have played a combined 82 matches so far with this being Saqib's debut match. Our future lies in the hands of this young players.

Finally when he wins he owes it to the players. But all these losses is his fault not the players? This is really funny!! Someone even the other day mentioned the hattrick that Vass got Hannan, Ash and someone else in the first over in the 03 WC was his (pilot) fault also. lol. I guess he can't get it right anytime.
The making of a scape goat continues.

Finally Pilot's has made it......... wow!!! its time now to forget how he led the team in the past. hopefully, under him, we will whitewash Kenya. I don't think kenya is gonna as weaker at the home as they were in Bangladesh

who knows this could be the lucky break he needed ??? lol

Say as much "passionate but not sensible" comments you want, Pilot is what he is. You blame Bashar for not being aggressive, you blame Akram to be too old, you blame Pilot to be,,,mmmm what now? Who is the one has the most stumping record? who is dubbed by Wasim Akram, Adam Gilchrist as the best wicketkeeper? who is the one that you always think will score runs at lower order? Who is the one that always cheering up the players at feild?
When Pilot was the captain,,do you recall who were the players? who was the manager and coach?
Whether or not he has a world record of being the worst captain,, it remains to be seen during Kenya tour, but Khaled Mashud Pilot lead the team with his heart, he is the one who always saved Bangladesh when our batting fails,,, Rahim, Saghir, Anwar came and went but none came close to Pilot. He may not have the best of records but he is certainly not as worse as Rajin Saleh during champions cup..

bro sorry.. but i have to tell this... if selectors r also thinking what u r....then that will be disaster for our country...
suppose under pilots captancy bangladesh will make a series win against kenya....but when we will watch scoreboard...then we will see..thee must be a nafees..or youngstar rajib taking 4 wickets quickly or newcomer forhad reza continue with his brilliant innigs..all creditssssssss will go to pilot..
but what will happen, mushfiqur rahim wont get chance against kenya...someday pilot will be injured..and mushqur rahim will b playing against team like australia or england....but if he fails..then we will tell mushfiq rahim worthless.....but we r not giving chances to him against this type of team like kenya which is less scary for us!!!!
i think for bangladesh captancy does nothing....
