Confucius
Since the Rumi thread got renamed, I thought it would be appropriate to start another individual's thread- Confucius.
One quote from him I keep on reciting everyday:
"Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. "
It struck a chord with me the first time I read it...thought I share it here

I like this quote by Confucius:
"A man who understands the Tao in the morning can die contentedly in the evening.“

Can I ask questions?
Who named him "Confucius"? Was he confused most of the time? Laugh people!!! It is good for your heart.

Playing at humor was he...
Here's one:

Anyone else see the outrageously, flagrant parallel?
"Don't do things that you don't want them do unto you." -Confucius
"Give it to the ----as as you them give't to you." -DMX
