literature, history, ancient history, comparative religion and philosophy are my fields of interest; so for maths you might want to try the other chaps!

This is how I've gone for it. Not sure if its 100% correct.
(-2b-4)-2b^2
-2(b+2)-2b^2
-2(b^2+b+2)
those were the steps i took.

oh ok.
Then this should be the simplified form(I think).
(-2b^-4)-2b^2
(1/(-2b^4))-2b^2
(1+(-2b^2)(-2b^4))/(-2b^4)
(1+(4b^6))/(-2b^4)

I give zeros who plagiarises. I give zeros to copies from others (cheating).
Tutoring is fine, but doing someone else's work is unwanted. Online tutoring is very hard. Good luck to those who wants to take up this challenge. Best advice to those who are looking for a short-cut, get back to your teacher and let them know your difficulties. I am sure no one will turn you down.
Shuaib, welcome to BC. You have nice joining date.

Only if you pay in Euros, Fazal
On a more serious note, I agree with Mijan. Homework is assigned to make the student learn to work on his own. We would not be doing him a favour by doing his homework for him. By all means, if he is really stuck, give him pointers and leads. But let him work out his assignments by himself.

AFAIK, Abraham Lincoln ended slavery in the US officially with the Emancipation Proclamation. Dont recall the year. But the abolitionist movement had started long before...
