Sorry if this sounds smug but I sort of knew/had a hunch that BD will win this match so I decided instead to enjoy the outdoors on a Sunday.

Be not so severe, O Moralist!
In a limited over match anything can happen irrespective to who's playing against whom. Lets hope for a convincing win for tomorrow

i was also critical to our boys performance.than i realized that scoring 206 in 32 overs against anybody is worth praising.my assesment is that bowlers have to work harder as our batters are notoriouos for getting out cheaply.

Well, today's Daily Star and Prothom Alo has virtually no news of this match. True, the print media has some limitations that they have to face if the timing of a match is such that as it was against Ireland yesterday night.
Kintu desher potrikagulo-i jodi amader sathe Irelander matchguloke eto kom gurutyohin bhabe, tahole Wisden Cricinfo aar CricketNext-ke dosh die ki aar hobe.

I thought the match washed away as usual!!!!
Congratulations goes to all who stayed in front of computer till the end, without losing their patience.
Nice to see that we won, even though from the last ball.
Nice to see Nafis made a ton, which brings us the win,
but like to see it in real match ( not in practice!! )
I am disappointed with the wicket fall at the end, which could easily turn up as a lose.
I think we had the chance to win this match more comfortable way,
as a senior team compare to Ireland, we should show that courage.
Anyway surely a win is better than a lose.

Really, you guys- BDcricket fans, are truly amazing!
Its a shame that the performance of our cricket team is usually abysmal while the enthusiasm of our supporters are so wonderful!
I'm happy that BD won such a close contest. The senior team are not known for such tenacity. It is one of the virtues of our U19 team. Therefore, I was not surprised to see Nafis playing an instrumental part in winning this match. These U19 kids have GUTS! Unfortunately Aftab got out without scoring. But he is a talented player and would surely bounce back in the next match. Nazmul needs to work a little harder, his bowling was not upto the level yesterday.

BBC\'s match report
Bangladesh beat Ireland
Opening bat Jason Molins top-scored for Ireland with 64
Ireland were beaten by Bangladesh at a rain-hit Stormont on Sunday in the first of two one-day internationals between the countries.
Opener Jason Molins top-scored with 64 in Ireland's rain-interrupted innings, which was reduced to 32 overs.
Bangladesh were set a revised target of 206 and managed to get it with two wickets and one ball to spare thanks to a superb 100 from Nafis Iqbal.
The sides meet again at Limavady on Monday morning at 1045 BST.

Why is BBC (and Cricinfo) always so miserly in their analysis of Bangladesh matches? We played a decent game, held our nerves and notched the victory in the penaltimate ball of the match- and all they can think of is- "Jason Molins top scored for Ireland with 64!" And about Bangladesh all they can write is- "managed to get it with two wickets"!
