Default Breaking News: BCB confirms four series with India, maiden Test tour in 2016

The BCB president, Nazmul Hassan, has said that he has signed members' participation agreements (MPA) for four tours with the BCCI, which includes Bangladesh's maiden Test tour to India in 2016. The other significant agreement, although in principal, has been with Cricket Australia while the ECB did not confirm additional tours.

they have to wait for bangladesh to celebrate its 16th year as a test team. Who knows how bad the indian team will be then.

Good stuff, better than having the Kiwis and the Windies here for sure. Hope Eden Gardens gets a fixture.

Are you guys into packing your bags and travelling around to catch your team? I presume it'd be an easy feat to get an Indian visa for this kind of thing, no?

This is contractual obligation now, not FTP - so you can trust this much more than mere FTP.

We have been playing Test cricket for almost 15 years.
It is about time
-we learn to take 20 wickets and win a few more test matches
-reach quarter finals/semi finals of major ICC tournaments
-be competitive across all formats

If we can address these issues seriously by setting up good infrastructure not just for the 20 odd players of the national team but for the rest of Bangladesh then we will have a future in cricket. If we continue to suck then all these charity tours and promises will evaporate and we will be left with organizing series with Namibia
