What a pathetic umpiring decision. There was obviously bat involved.

But the big thing was he gave into the appeal of the bowler.

Rangpur had the first pick in the draft and picked the great sir Jamshed.

Amidst the local players they picked Lord mithun. Made Naeem Islam captain and Belim the coach

They struggle in the middle so much. I think the batsmen think too much about the spinning effectiveness on this track, hence get bogged down. Lack of clear attempt to go up and over on the front foot!

Afridi gone

Rangpur never looked like getting over the line. How can they with this batting lineup. Same applies to Khulna who has scored 300 runs in 3 matches batting first

Riders messed this up big time. Night to forget. Get Ziaur in the side somehow, take Shoumya out if needed! Bat afridi at top or Mithun

What is the purpose of muktar. He bats at 8 and bowls only one over in 3 matches.

Indeed riders badly exposed tonight. I'm with Rajshahi anyway
Jokes apart. RR need to get team sorted, If ''chokka'' naeem isnt going to ball much, what's his role? Ziaur can hit the deck hard, bowl useful overs!

Whoever gave him the title once, "chokka Naeem" what an Idiot he was!

Pinak Ghosh and Pope should be playing next time around. Same as Zia

Play with hacks. Dawson and Naeem are useless up the order

Agree

Pink and pope can be a surprise opening pair

Pope is a big hitter (seen it in the u19 wc) and we know what pink is made of

Rangpur had 2 of the better LoI bats in the world on virtue of form - sharjeel khan and Babar Azam.

But both were picked for national side and their replacements was Liam Dawson who is a SLA who can bat a bit

Mosaddek Hossain should bat up the order: Dhaka will get to the final for sure if he bats higher.

Nafees at this point in time should be in the Bangladesh squad over Soumya. Very disappointed over how inconsistent Soumya has been.

let's wait until BPL ends...I highly rated Alok Kapali but unfortunately apart from final last year he has very little going for him in T20s.

Nafees deserves a spot in the squad purely on his good consistent run in our domestics. If Kayes could make a come-back, maybe he can as well. Although a comeback in NZ would probably be brutal for him.

^ Kayes never left tho? Definitely never had a long break from International cricket. Kayes came back into the LINEUP in ODI in edition to his already set spot in Test. But he was always in the ODI squad as a back up.

I'm not for SN making a comeback, 5 years too late. Those days are gone. Onward and upward. Should be focusing on fixing Anamul, LDK etc before they become yet another wasted prospect like SN.

I would respectfully disagree. If a player is in good touch, then why not capitalize on his services and win some matches? Experience matters.

^ And who would you get rid of to make room for SN to take this backward step?

In Tests, our top 6 is the most experience we've ever had. I can only see him replacing Riyad but I don't see Riyad getting dropped. Plus, Riyad has a proven track record in NZ with 3 100's. SN never played there.

In ODI, the lineup is very well set, even guys like SS, Anam, Nasir can't make the cut anymore.

In T20I, I can see him playing a Hussey type role, but we don't nearly play enough T20I. I wouldn't take a player in NZ just to play 3 T20I. At home, understandable if you want to bring in Alok and SN for the T20 series, but again, we don't play enough T20I.

I agree with you on experience. Experience in T20 is highly underrated. Every team had that wise head for situations like the ones we had vs IND. But I'm not sure how SN could've done better if two of our sr player with all their experienced made a horrible mess of it?
