Even established players will struggle away from home just look at how West Indies and England perform home and away.

This will be Shadmans second international match and series ever , even if he fails it's not the end of the world. Rather unfortunate he won't get much home series now to get the feel of international cricket but getting straight into the firing line in NZ. It's the fault of the selectors for not moving him in vs Zimbabwe

What I liked about him was his approach to the game, in other words, his test temperament. We direly needed test batsmen like him.

I just hope that he doesn't change himself too much to fit into LOI cricket and our selectors/coaches don't rush him into ODI/T20.

If he gets a long run in test, he will be our "grinder".

I was referring to more his BPL performance. He plays some real delightful looking shots.

I didn't see him play @BPL. But I watched his 76 run inning of 199 balls against WI. I was thoroughly impressed.
