It should be 8/271 so 33.99 I guess

That's not bad. He's doing well for a part-time bowler.

Naeem is consistant in helping build partnerships (did it with Riyad in the tri-Series, Mushy & Imrul in NZ, Tamim yesterday) and yet he is #8. Might as well play him at #11. Imagine how that would frustrate the opponents to take the last wicket. Something is severly flawed in the think tank.

This batting line up makes me puke a bit everyday. Nayeem is a better batter than half the batters in this team. I fear I might puke my intestines out if they continue to persist with this order.

How many ducks does Junaid have to make before the management finally drop him? I can't believe he played today! This is ridiculous! Why do they still refuse to move our best batsman up the order!?

I just don't understand why Naeem is still bat at lower middle order!
It's time to move him up the number of no. 3 or no. 4.
I'm sure he would bat well there. He has solid defense with great hitting power.

^ Even Shahadat Hossain has a better average and strike rate.

No. All three Ash, Aftab and Alok don't deserve in the national team. All rubbish but Selectors and Eshen and Co thinks they are best or at least some one of them are irreplacable.

I gotta say i have been extremely impressed with this aftab guy..an avg of a 10 with a SR of a 66..woow this is absolutely amazing stuff from him keep it going!! Can't stop laughin at how shahadat has a better SR and average then aftab..only in bangladesh!! Anyways back to our real batsmen..shakib and mushfiq need 2 perform with the bat in the next 2 odi's..their averages are surprisingly poor so far this year..mushfiq has improves but still was disappointed last match when he got run out..and then shakib had a brain fart like ash n aftab and went after swann after struggling to rotate the strike..they really need 2 step it up..

Imrul leads now with 365 in 9 with Tamim at 364.

we are yet to get all wickets in an ODI so far. Hopefully this post will turn out to be yesterday's news.

0-10 in ODIs. We've only taken 50 out of the 100 wickets. Other than the late surge in the 2nd ODI in ENG, really not much to show

So our top performers in ODIs are Imrul (like the 70 SR), Tamim, Rahim, Riyad and Naeem. Not a bit surprised.
The bowlers, on the other hand, have been agonizing.

^^ Looking at how G7 teams are scoring against each other nowadays, I don't think our bowlers are doing bad. It's batsmen that letting us down. They are all focused on their individual performances instead of thinking about team's goals. Though in their defense, I don't think they are given any team strategy to follow.

runs are coming but they are not coming together. Until they come together nothing will change. no point if tamim scores 100 one match, kayes scores 50 next match, and and shakib scores 50 in the next match. Unless these come on the same day it won't make much difference.

I think part of the problem is that they don't know how to bat with each other. This includes running between the wickets, realizing the strengths and weaknesses of the partner to the bowling that is going on and rotating strike likewise.
I think the whole learning process is flawed to begin with. Its like teaching a basketball player to shoot but not bother to teach him passing or dribble.

I think a major portion of our fault comes with not letting the batsman's think for themselves. things never go according to our plan, our batsman's need to improvise, they need to talk to each other in the middle and say alright this is what we are going to do. and if they know each others weakness then they should be able to make the plans accordingly.

agreed. The decisions seem to be predetermined before the game even starts. There is rarely in change in the batting order and every decision seems to be made in order to not lose embarassingly. Rarely is an aggressive approach taken to go for the win without the fear of defeat. It seems the team plays with the foregone conclusion that defeat is imminent and they are trying to minimize the difference.
