Why subcontinent teams struggling in Tests?

Compared to limited overs the subcontinent teams like Sri,Ind, Pak all are losing to Aus,SA or Eng in Tests.
Although we always lose Tests but still against WI we did so well in ODIs but failed in Tests.
I won't be surprised if Pak comes back strongly against SA in the ODI series.
