Dear Surfer we have a whole sub-forum for Champions trophy. I made the same mistake.
Hard to tell who wins. There are some very good balanced teams. With the exception of SA all of them have some sort of weakness chasing. So my vote goes to SA.
Pak is as unpredictable as ever. Umar Akmal looks to be the real deal.
SL The day Dilshan doesn't fire, they lose.
Aus at times very slow chasing.
Ind well same as SL just the name would be Tendu. Pace attack looks weak. Nehra is the only one who would threaten.
+++
Now the weakest of the weak is WI substitute team.
England is little better 3 one sided losses.
NZ will beat England and that will be their only win.
So there will be plenty of one sided matches. May be next edition they will have six teams?

It might come down to SA and Ind. I also think pak and aus has somewhat of a chance.

I agree with you there chol bhai, surely the West Indies could have been pulled out of the tournament and Bangladesh brought in.. but anyway who cares? Not many people care about the "Champions Trophy", the World Cup is the real deal.

Interesting poll results. People here seem to think Australia has a bigger chance than SA? Don't get carried away by their drubbing of the English, the English are that bad.

I think the choke factor has something to do with decision making.

Ntini, Parnell, Roe Van Mer. Which two are playing?

YAAAY, right now the Indians leaking runs to the Pakistan team. When it comes between India and Pakistan, I would rather support Pakistan. THe Indian team dominating world cricket too much. And I want Pakistan to bring them down to their knees.

So SA is out. SL holds a slim chance. Ind will be chasing 300+ today? Soon 50 over format will go away. Excluding minnows didn't do the trick yet again.

As now England is in a winning row, the success of ODI's ensured and we will see loads of good articles in favor. But not only because of the English win, the twist and climax Champion's Trophy established this year makes ODI's more indefinite and all those shitty talks about middle over and boredom are right back into the face of the naysayers.
