57, 78 and 43- under same captain!
The title says it all. What's coming next?
People still happy with captain careless leading from the front?

I don't see captain's fault in any of these, apart from not contributing with the bat himself.

Mushy is easily the greatest test captain Bangladesh has ever produced. We got most of our success under his brilliant leadership where he lead from the front with his performance.
Can't remember any captain in Bangladesh cricket history who was as dedicated, as honest, as reliable, as humble and as consistent as he was during his tenure. Shame on BCB for sacking him from his leadership role.
So in my opinion, this humiliation was well deserved. U will reap what u sow. Wait for couple of months, Shakib will bring the honor of losing a series to Nepal with his brilliant All round Performance. I m eagerly waiting for that day.

I just brought the stats. Somehow captain careless is involved in these sort of performances as the official leader.

I have said this before, I will tell this again. He is a cancer for BD cricket. Sooner he retires, the better it is for BD. Yes, he is the best BD has ever produced but his negligence is contagious and is spreading. Cut it off. Papon is another one

Corrected. It was after that match Windies bus was stoned (not weed/ganja) or something

He is a lethargic, uninspiring leader who shows his team that he would rather be on holiday than be with them training for the next series, a leader influences his team a lot by what he does and what he says. Choosing him as a captain is just a step back for our cricket, he has had disciplinary issues in the past and just doesn't come across as a calm and thoughtful cricketer, at this moment its better to play with someone as captain only, we are carrying useless dead weights like Rubel in the team anyway. Thats how bad things have become, there is real lack of leaders in the team who are performing.

Cannot agree more. He was indeed the best test captain. Just one bad series in SA and he was sacked - it was totally uncalled for.
Also if you look at BD performance in those two tests against South Africa, even though we lost, our scores were quite good.
Plus Mushy scored a fantastic ODI century following that test series.
Love or hate him, Mushfiqur Rahman is indeed the best test captain of Bangladesh and the second best ODI captain.

Spot on. After a long time I have found someone on this message board who's a well wisher of BD cricket. U'll find a lot of fans even on this board who get irked even if they see the shadow of mushy and always ready to criticize him.
In Bangladesh cricket honesty and hard work doesn't have any value. Here a player is evaluated based on his ability of licking the boots of BCB officials. If a players isn't good at flattery he will be scolded by the board official in broad daylight in front of everybody.
Remember how Papon bashed him on national television? Can u recall any country where a test captain was humiliated by the board president in such fashion? He even compared him with mash and Shak in front of everyone in a negative way in order to demean him.

Absolutely, completely agree with eclipse and ToBeFair! Mushfiquer Rahim has been the best Test Captain and Test batsman BD has ever produced! He can also inspire his players as well.
Shakib is a great player, cricketer - but an absolute garbage of a leader, role model!

Yeah
But he's not a great captain, but no need to use this to criticise him, other faults, no need to make them up

A captain is not solely responsible for batting collapse. Bangladesh had similar batting collapse when Shakib wasn't captaining. In 2014 Bangladesh was all out for 58 in the home series against India(Mushfiqur was captaining). Bangladesh was all out for 82 in this year against Sri lanka(Mashrafe was captaining).

that was the brilliance of future hall of famer, Stuart Binny. No fault to BD.
Austin will agree with me

#PrivatizeBCB.
The players and the govt. are in collusion to give a failed product. The board is bloated and incompetent. What do they know about building a team? And the players, well they are just BKSP actors hired to play the script written by Papon. What can they know about wanting to be great?
They don't care about the fans. If they did, why do they sell so many tickets in the black market? BCB is just the sports wing manifestation of the utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt Bd govt.

Shakib no doubt a talent cricketer, but if he were born in Australia, SA or England, they would only play him in ODI and T20

Pretty sure shakib would play a lot for the current Aussie team, averages about 40 with bat and pretty good with the ball, don’t forget Aussies are struggling in the batting and spin bowling department atm. England as well, imo shakib is similar to Moeen Ali, probably better!

I knew it before he was appointed.. we are taking a step back not front. Mushy despite his unlimited stupidity, alarmingly limited cricket brain, actually put in more effort then Shakib...
(Not saying mushy should be back ... God no!)
