Rise of Afgan, result against Zim and our below par performance @ PRACTICE MATCHS is making me nervous and demoralized. This qualifying round would be a nail bitter. The key thing for us would be Killing instinct…. Hunger for win…. n Kill 'em all attitude.

We need to do well in every department and in every game till the end.

I just wonder how many genuine hitters in our team who can hit the ball really hard and clear the boundary. I am sorry to say that theY are very few....
1. Jia
2. Shamsur
3. Shabbir
4. Anam ( maybe)

Big hitters are the key for T20 games. You don’t have to be technically good batsman to obtain success in this format. I think we are not thinking enough whilst selecting our team.. Any thoughts?

I just hope our players don't let that revenge crap get in their head. I'm afraid that guys like Nasir and Tamim will get all hot headed and be like I'll show them who we are and try to hit everything out of the park. That's how we lost the last game.

I just want to see zia instead of reza asap.... There is only way we will feel comfy for knowing we will have big hitter end of the innings...& tamim will clash from the begaining. I m not happy the way bd won against UAE. That's pethetic result against part time players. Wonder if tamim wasnt there , what would happend???

Riad played well, but he bowled bad is heck... So hes ok for now as a back up for gazi. Looks like razzak learn his lesson & still showing threat against minnows. Sakib stop worthless batting man.... Nasir this World Cup would be u r last carrier decider .... & u know it. Keep failing will kick out for sure. Anam nothing to say, ai beta kokhon ki khele I'm not sure... Just waiting for real match what he does?
All together bd need to belive, whole bangladesh with them, they r not alone.... They just need fire & ice gum & hit the grape buscet.

Why not wish Reza that he can play to his potential and give his best? A good over or two from him might change a T20 match...never know!

Quinton de kock only recently found some form and player some good knocks, before that he looked dire at international level, anamul is starting to find his way and I believe he will be a successful international batsmen, already 2 ODI tons, that isn't bad.

Only thing I can say this will be a high voltage match….. Anyone can win; to be honest as this is a shorter version. MD Nabi is a threat for us. Whatever the result would be I have a feeling that Afgan Eagle VS BD Tigermatch will be a high pressure match going forward (at least until WC2015).

By the way, Road to Canberra - I locked in the ticket for PAYBACK Match Bd VS Afgan 18 Feb, WC 2015 @ Manuka Oval, Canberra.

I understand your point... But when u see as a international player getting hammared by parttime players (12.5 run rate) yes performance does matter. Zia should be in, zia should come later... I belive he will later. Mark my word bcb will show someone injured to bring him in the squad... Hes quick 30 runs will help bd big times with wicket or two. In t20 u have to play who can hit who can change the game who can bowl when captain needed too.... So let's see what happend.. Hope reza can display some action march 16.... We need some support from others beside tamim, sakib, musy. So good luck tigers.

Shakib! His whole batting approach nowadays seems geared towards T20. A 12 ball 30 here could be game changing, not to mention 16 ball 44s like against Pakistan recently.

And Mushfiq too nowadays.
