Rubel Hossain is going to do Major Damage on this Tour, Sending People to the Hospital type Damage
I think this is going to be the 1st time He is going to be playing on Green Tops, he'll have Masri to guide in him in the ODI's, which is always comforting. He's gonna get the right advice on when how to not waste his Bouncer, what length to bowl etc. Masri is Rubel Idol and he's seems much better equipped when Masri guides him.
That extra Movement that he doesn't in the subcontinent, he's going to get it in New Zealand.
Oh Did I mention the Pace
If he bowls the Line and Length he was bowling to India during the Test Series, it's over, all he's got to do is learn to pitch just behind a good length and he's going to square up all kinds of batsmen and if there not Careful ...
Fat Bengali Girls will Cry for the Kiwi Batsmen
He's the Main player to watch in this tour.
Pity this is only a one off Test

It will be very interesting to see what our pacers do in New Zealand. They have the pace, now let's see if they have the brains.

I'm more impressed by shafiul. I think rubel will lose his head seeing the conditions and bowl waywardly.

Nz batting is currently one of the worst especially in the absence of Ryder.

Rubel might be the main initiator of run leakage in the Test.

Remember what Vettori alone did to us in the last series in Chittagong? He was an allrounder more popularly known as spinner.

Yea he didn't do that against Bangladesh alone. He did that to Srilanka, India, Pakistan. He is a very good batsman. But their top order is pure crap except Taylor. Their bowling is extremely weak without Bond and O'brien. But they play as a team and they are very responsible cricketers. That is where they are better than most of the other sides.

Stats of our seamers in places such as England, Australia, SA, NZ - where pitches are believed to be seamers friendly, actually is not that exciting.
Stats Thread
I guess because of their inexperience, they struggle to adjust their lengths when they go outside subcontinent.

NZ pitches are probably the most seamer friendly in the world; I somehow expect Shafiul to do better than Rubel in NZ

yeap....me also thinks so ! NZ condition will suit Shafiul bowling action to get more help from the pitch. however, Rubel will be the perfect bowler to get the ball reverse !

In the last series,
Shafiul Bowled @ 138kph (max. i've seen)
Shahdat was around 130-135kph
Rubel consistently bowled above 140 kph
As per my record, rubel's quickest one was hurled @148kph
i am waiting for him to touch 150 mark this time..

Rubel did bowl in England, remember? So, won't be his first time in seamer friendly conditions. But I am expecting more off Shafiul than Rubel. Rubel only has the inswingers that come into the right handers. His outswingers are not that good. But Shafiul can swing the ball pretty much both ways. And Shafiul is almost as quick as Rubel[tho, due to his action, Rubel gets onto the batsmen a bit quicker]

Yeah, as if.
Heard that before.
You are not playing india in New Zealand. You are playing New Zeland in their home soil.
You think they'd be crappin in their pants thinking of Rubel????
They grew up playing Bond.

Thats exactly what i was thinking,
BUT we never before have had pacers as fast as rubel, so its a new for us.
And i have to admit, i really am looking foward to what rubel and shafiul can do in this series, hope they do not dissapoint. i really hope that mash comes back strong though thats my main worry

Rahat, my friend, last time we toured, we never had a pacer like Shahadat in our team, it was Mash before that, and it was Khaled Mahmud Shujon before that...
The story goes on.
Disappointed to see a seasoned veteran like Cricman had to make those remarks.
(Nothing against ya mate).
