WC Squad - Sharif Out, Masri in

According to news, Masri will definitly be in the 30 member preliminary list for the World Cup. The selectors are excluding Sharif based on his physio report.

I dont think even if Sharif was fit, he would be in the WC 14. Simply, Monju, Masri and Talha beats him and takes up the seamer slot.

He had all the promises, didnt deliver much. Only good thing I can say about him is, he is more distructive on a old ball.

We will probably take a fourth specialist seamer to South Africa but even then, Taposh will be chosen ahead of Sharif. However, atleast 10 of the 30 in the preliminary squad don't have any chance of making the final 14, so it doesn't really matter.
