what do you mean if it is in fact true? it is true.

this is very sad. they killed him just because they had disputes over the game? that's just retartded. how could someone do that? it's very sad indeed.

btw - i know i shouldn't be mentioning this here, but couldn't help noticing that although his age was stated as 17, he was selected in the Australia-bound U-15 team. there goes my trust on the selection process for age groups.

You noticed that too? Now on we have to deduct 2 years from the given age. Man nijer paye amra kural marchi. Boyesh komanor dorker ta ki bujlam na.

players always try to steal their age in Bd. It is because they will play longer in underage formats. and obviously a 17-18 yr old will play better than a 15 yr old by natural reason and get selected.

very sad indeed. and the way they killed him, using bricks to his head, cutting fingers and injuries all over his body show us how low people has become.

I pray to Allah to forgive his sins and give him Jannah!

He was in the 10th grade of MI Model High School. Hence, he probably was closer to 15 than 17. Anyway, he just getting the taste of life. A whole lot awaited from him. What a waste of life and a dream! We also witness an ugly face of the cricket mania. Not only he was murdered but met his fate in the most brutal manner. Smashing his head with brick and cutting the fingers! Oh Allah! How could they be so cruel and ruthless! The perpetrators could not have been much older than Jewel! I hope and pray to Allah that those who are responsible are quickly found and brought to justice.

There is a wrong information here. He was not selected to go to Australia for the U-15 team. He was invited to the camp but he was not selected.

May his soul rest in peace.

I find it extremely insensitive to talk about someone's age legality when he has just been brutally murdered. It almost borders to being sick!

I also felt uncomfortable about people talking about his age issue in the same thread. This news deserves un-interrupted attention by its own.

May his soul rest in peace and the guilty party get caught and punished by the law.
