I dont think i have ever seen BD batsmen play with such authority, with such confidence before. Just forgetting who's the opposition for a second, there's so much composure in all the scoring shots that these two batsmen are playing. Just gotta maintain the application against better opponents, and the future certainly looks very very promising.

Zimbabwe may be leaving it too late to make a bowling change.

nafees got to 40 on a helluva pace. mehrab is happy playing second fiddle. i know this is premature, but i'm excited about this opening partnership....in both forms of the game.

We want Nafees to reach the avg of home of 50 which is unprecedented in Bangladesh. He is showing it is better to score than being a so called paper talent.

I believe Nafees is the first Bangladeshi batsman for whom we do not have to put up excuses like "he is so talented but...". After a decent run of matches, your runs and average should prove how good you are. Promises which are not bankable does not help the side.

I am not sure what Aftab's average is for the last 10 or so matches but he still needs to curb his enthusiasm somewhat.

On the bowling side, Razzaq has joined Rafique to form another reliable ODI bowler. However, I still would like to see Rasel with the new ball.

Hmmm.... the opening partnership averages around 75 at this point...
its too early to bring all the stats..
but certainly very encouraging for us....

If he keeps up his calm he can make another century today. It seems like Aussies are playing instead of BD.
