England 109/4...

Now we have Warne and Flintoff on the pitch: who's going to grab the Ashes?

37.5 Warne to Flintoff, OUT: Warne snags another! Fullish, on the off,
Flintoff is beaten by the flight and pushes back towards Warne who
makes no mistake with the catch!

England 126/5, Partnership of 17
A Flintoff c & b Warne 8 (13b 1x4 0x6)
KP Pietersen 34* (57b 2x4 2x6) SK Warne 15.5-0-55-3

Another one bites the dust, and Australia slowly inch their way
back iinto this

Oh dear... looks like England will collapse within 20 overs leaving Australia a 200 runs target with 50 overs left!
I'm glad I'm neither English nor Australian... I would have had a heart-attack now!

Bad for Australia. They really had the momentum in their favour. England must be relieved to go off for lunch. I consider Australia favourites at this point, though a lot will depend on KP now.

Thank goodness for lunch!!!!!

Hopefully KP can punish Australia for their two drops, and take the game away from them. England lead by about 120, if England can just survive another session then....

I am not even going to tempt fate.

Absolutely outrageous! Shane Warne is gonna have nightmares of the easy catch he dropped off Pieterson when he was on 15

Ponting should take Warne off. I am feeling sorry for him. He doesn't deserve this treatment KP is dishing him at the moment after such a fantastic effort all series. He has done all he can.

Yes, Ponting should have taken warne out ages ago and brought back Mcgrath much earlier.

The English are such wimps, they should have declared and tried to win this game.

I feel sorry for Brett Lee. He's like the Tapash Baisya of Australia. Plays with his heart, but it's not enough *shrug*

Give it a rest. There is too much at stake.

I sure hope that there isn't a load of bitter Pom bashing coming up led by unproffesional Banglacricket staff.

If the numerous 'professional' English [ insert media outlet here ] staff can engage in BD bashing, why can't I do a bit of the same?

Once again, this match proves how important fielding is. Look at an average batsman scoring 158 to make history while being dropped 3 times!!

Not that the Brits are better, but Aussies just couldnt field made this series..

I don't want to start a big arguement here. But I think the English press's views actually had a bit of something to back it up.

Warne dropped a sitter himself. That'll shut his mouth for a while

Pietersen an "average batsman"?

He could have been lucky for being dropped but his magnificent innings (7x6!) was the final effort for England victory in the series...

The Ashes XI:
1 Langer
2 Trescothick
3*Vaughan
4 Ponting
5 Pietersen
6 Flintoff
7+Gilchrist
8 Warne
9 Harmison
10 Hoggard
11 McGrath

It would be nice to see them in a "super series" facing "Rest of the world"

1 Smith
2 Sehwag
3 Lara
4*Inzaman
5 Tendulkar
6 Kallis
7+Sangakkara
8 Vettori
9 Kumble
10 Murali
11 Bond

Australians have 18 overs left to get the 341 (a tie would be enough) target.

RRR 18,95 ...a bit difficult!

England ashes team! You have done something that will help English cricket for a long time. Atleast for now they will stop making botham as their only savior. They have new leaders. Congrates!! I never thought it could be done this year. Very Very Well done. The series should have been 3-1 though.
