Highlights of the day -
Dhoni won the toss and asked opposition to bat. Dhoni won 12th consecutive toss in completed international matches ... compute the probability!

Ishant Sharma bowling ... probing and attacking. Zaheer lost speed and accuracy. Shami is inconsistent, but very good at times. Overall, NZ got 30-40 more runs thanks to hard-hitting-tail or easing-out-pitch. India got Williamson out twice before he actually got out, but both times third umpire called it a no-ball.
Dhawan attacked everything he could. Pujara defended everything he can. Vijay was out playing a huge inswinger. Then Pujara was out in a left-arm inswing delivery that would have clipped the top of off. Ishant Sharma came as night-watch man and survived 16 balls ... tried upper-cut to square drive (ended going straight ).

A dream day for Ishant overall.

Aww man, I'm so missing out on a great documentation of this great test match. MCullum is playing out of his skins to save this test( a true captain's innings).

What a batting performance from McCullum. I feel like McCullum went through a transformation after he gave up wicket keeping in the longer version. I would love to see our captain give up wicket keeping in the longer version some day, and focus only on batting.

Dhoni to Watling, 1 run, fullish but on the pads as he clips it to deep square leg
158.4
Dhoni to McCullum, 1 run, turns this length ball away behind square leg to raise the 350-run stand. They've gone past Bradman and Fingleton's 346 in 1930
158.3
Dhoni to McCullum, no run, short ball on off stump, McCullum waits on it and dabs towards midwicket
158.2
Dhoni to Watling, 1 run, clipped to deep square leg as this is shortish and on middle

Now time to see can Brendon reach 300. Already records galore in the match.

Kalaam bhai.is just too much.

lol and India and BD are sharing the same kufa kopal with poor performance of course.
this is just unbelievable, yes we lost three close matches but Ind were in chance of winjing after so many matches by an innigs and now they have to save this match.
