Default A stat of how many 5-year periods have finished for us in ICC Test Championship

I was reading the BBC Messege board to know what some of England fans are thinking about Bangladesh's tour to England and have come up with the following post:

BBC Board

There, the following stat is mentioned by somebody:

Quote:
No. of Tests vs Bangladesh in the last 5 years (Mar 2000 to Mar 2005): Aus - 2, Eng - 2, Ind - 3, NZ - 4, Pak - 6, SA - 4, SL - 3, WI - 4, Zim - 8
It got me interested to know how many matches that we are due to play according to ICC's current 5-year ICC Test Championship - home & away basis. Since the ICC's next meeting is on this Thursday & Friday, and there is a possibility that we might be scrapped of playing away tests, so it got me interested to know whether we'll be missing playing against any team soon or not.

Thus, I found the following:

Inaugural test vs IND (1)

Asian Test championship vs Pak (1) & vs SL (1)

Extra vs ZIM (2)

vs Pak (1 three-match test series instead of two)

ICC Test Championship:

Home vs ZIM (2), Away vs ZIM (2), Home vs ZIM (2) = 6 (1 5-year cycle finished + start of another 5-year cycle)

Home vs SA (2), Away vs SA (2) = 4 (1 5-year cycle finished)

Home vs PAK (2), Away vs PAK (2) *in reality three = 4 (1 5-year cycle finished)

Home vs IND (2) = 2

AWAY vs SL (2) = 2

Home vs ENG (2) = 2

Away vs Aus (2) = 2

Home vs WI (2), Away vs WI (2) = 4 (1 5-year cycle finished)

Home vs NZ (2), Away vs NZ (2) = 4 (1 5-year cycle finished)

ICC's Future Tour Programs for Bangladesh
This is a summery of BD's future tours (as planned back in 200)1... and until further change(in any next ICC meeting maybe..) this is what ICC had in mind for BD till 2010. They are now thinking about reducing some Away matches from these. Not many Away tours except for in 2010...I wonder which ones they want to cut off??

By the way... I made the above chart before It was confirmed whether SL will come to BD this year or BD will go to SL... and probably BD is going on Away tour to SL in Sep/Oct'2005... so the SL tour will be in 'away' list and not 'Home'

Are you not going to play in India next April as it is reported here?

No, India will not invite us this April.

You could say that the current long India-Pakistan is happening at the expense of Bangladesh (well, it is not certain yet as to when Bangladesh will be invited to India).

I think both SL and BD board have come to a mutual agreement that Bangladesh to go on away tour to SL on 2005 and SL will come to Bangladesh (for the first time ever) during 2006. I believe the reason for this swapping is Bangladesh's inability to build 2 home grounds on time (Bangabandhu stadium and Chittagong MA Aziz stadium going to football).
