Quote:

Good to see some young players there. SN and SS needed to get drop.

But Shahdat again??? where the hell is Arafat sunny? Shabbir Rahman??? this is T20 for god sake not Test; Nayeem

Naeem Islam ???? why. The guy is out of form.

Players overlooked:

Shabbir Rumman showed signs of getting back in form for Duranto Rajshahi and can hit ball far.

Nazmul Hossain Milon: pagol98 has youtube video on him. You want to keep him in preliminary squad at-least.

Arafath Sunny: Great performance during BPL.

Forgot about those guys actually. Shabbir and Milon should've been there ahead of Alok and Naeem. Let those guys have a chance to showcase their skills rather then Naeem and Alok who have already been given enough chances. To be honest, it would be tough for Arafat to make it since we're pretty much set with our SLA's.

Arafat Sunny in place of Shahadat Hossain
Nazmul Hossain Milon in place of Naeem Islam

That should have been the squad.

Both Rubel and Shafi are injured. That is the only reason I see for shahadat's inclusion...

SN is not a T20 player. The guy couldn't make it to the Barisal team, so Bangladesh team is a bit far-fetched dream for him. He could be a non playing Davis cup captain cum cheerleader like he was in BB. As for Hujurawardi, I don't see a place for him either. If there was another SLA picked in the team, Arafat Sunny would have made the cut ahead of him. But I am going to miss his somersaults.
Sabbir Rahman or A Sunny should have been in the team in place of Chhokka. A Sunny is a better bowler and Rumman is a better batsman & fielder. Either of them could have added more value to the team than Chhokka. As for Nazmul Milon, i think his omission is justified. He looked like a one trick pony to me in the BPL - jumps to the backfoot before every delivery and tries to hit. International bowlers will figure him out in a couple of minutes and he'll be useless.

I think we have more then enough SLA in our aquad... Shak, Raj, Ilias sunny, enamul jnr are more then enough..these guys are more experienced then arafat sunny..selectors could have picked marshall ayub instead of shahadat for his leg spin ability...he did ok in bpl..
