Just wanna mention something about Tamim's bhuri. First I thought it was the guard, now after the huffing and puffings I saw in the last match I really think it's kinda serious. Tamim needs to do more cardio period. What the heck are the coaches doing about it? SN gained bhuri after a year or two and was never the same. Tamim seriously needs to lose that bhuri and be lean and thin. He was huffing and puffing after running 2 runs for heavens sake.

Yep, and the alleged smoking doesn't help either.

Unbfortunately for Tamim it might be genetic that he is gettting his Uncle's Bhuri. He should call that ad in the newspapers "Med Bhuri, Ki Kori?"
Jokes apart I think he needs to keep a check on that if he still wants to remain athletic as he grows older.

Only Riyad and Rubel would probably strike outsiders as professional athletes. The others look too big or too thin.

Imrul Kayes and Siddiqui look quite well built. Shafiul looks like a skeleton with a thin layer of skin on.

MS Shubho, Imrose, Imrul, Riyad, Nayeem and Nazmul are all well built. GoBoy may be tiny, but he's well built also. Rex is strong but could lose some body fat. Both Shuhash and Shakib are athletic and wiry, but could put on more muscle.
Ideally cricketers don't need to look like American Football players like Pollard or our own Shubhashish Roy, but like our own RBX, Roach, Chigumbura, Mitchell Johnson or Malinga.
Motin has a little Bhur'hi in the tradition of Chacha. Abir is developing one in the tradition of Durjauy, and we're all watching Tamim become Akram 2.0. So basically, it's the urban guys, semi-urban in Tamim's case, who have the problem. That's typical of Bangladesh.

Grant Luden, along with Tamim himself, should be held responsible. This is simply unacceptable. Are Ryder, Sehwag and Tamim the only players in professional cricket right now who have a noticeable paunch? I cant think of any more...

How about Kallis? Surely no one would expect a fat and bald man to do so well in cricket.

Correction, in most professional sports. Cricket is more of a sissies' game from that viewpoint. Very little fitness required.

A lot of our ex-players had bhuris even in their playing days.
Most of the Aussie players in the 90's had mac 'n cheese khawa bhuris.
