, Sangakkara piped up in frustration, signaling to Jayawardene that he should have been squarer to begin with, and should not have allowed a second. Jayawardene yelled back dismissively, and with equal displeasure, pointing back to the place he had been standing. Both men looked towards Chandimal for a final ruling, but he wore an expression of deep discomfort at seeing the two seniors argue, and simply said nothing. It's always tough to see your parents fight.

South Africa
Without Steyn SA bowling is not even world class ( ODIs & T20s),without Amla their batting is average.
It's only in Tests that the trio Steyn,Morkel,Highlander make their bowling so strong.

Sanga is in some crazy form :-o

Not to take anything away from Sri Lanka's performance, but this is the thing about playing Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka. Very few teams can thrive here. The humid condition, hot sun, nature of the wickets. Its very difficult to beat them at home.

But at the same time South Africa do need to think about their team. Its not that they dont have the players. I just dont see the same level of commitment, fighting spirit compared to the previous generation.

Rilee R would be a great addition to their squad (in all formats).

i was pretty angry when kusal got out for 11, turned out to be the 2nd best innings for sri lanka....sangsakkara played a great knock the rest were just horrible. the youngsters aren't stepping up, chandimal should be doing much better, and i'm expecting a lot from kusal so he's been disappointing to.

General consensus here is the seniors need to go for the youngsters to start performing. They are not taking responsibility knowing Sanga and Mahela are there to rescue them.

But considering how well the likes of Sanga, Mahela, Dilshan are doing, they ll probably stick around for a while.

i don't know if it's that tbh, in the last match sanga and dilshan were the only seniors in there, mahela wasn't there. sanga got 59* and the next highest was 11. strange though, there is a lot of talent there, mathews, chandimal and kusal are very talented guys, thirimanne is talented to.

looking at their records one thing i noticed is all of them are consistent at the FC level, but aren't in list A's or t20s.

We will invite them over twice a year and hand their rear-ends to them.
