Captain Mushfiqur Rahim targets consistency

Bangladesh Captain Mushfiqur Rahim has targeted consistency for the team after the BCB handed him the responsibility to lead the side until the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Australia-New Zealand.

Rahim, who has been at the Tigers’ helm since September 2011 said: “I feel honoured by the faith the Board has shown in my ability to lead the Bangladesh team. This is also a fantastic opportunity for me to plan for the future with Shane (National Team Head Coach Shane Jurgensen), the players and the rest of the management.

“We have started to develop a better degree of consistency in recent times and I will try my heart and soul to maintain that positive vibe. I am confident that I will receive the full support of the players and the Board in our continuous quest to improve.

“The path ahead is a challenging one but Insha-Allah we will reach our desired goals across all formats of the game.”

Newspaper reports that Shakib will be given vice captaincy, it's Kalerkontho I guess.

Also, Nazmul Hasan said that India has agreed to host Bangladesh, they expressed their willingness to host us during a ACC meeting recently.
