Does experience count? Apparently, not for BD cricketers. What kind of example is Basher leaving for the younger players to learn from? His hook shot in the first innings was so out of line that he should consider stepping down. I do not know how he got out the second time (I went to bed). But I can guess. On the other side, Belim was trying to cut everything.. It did not matter how far out is line of the ball from the off stamp or whether it is swinging out or not.

I think Bangladesh should voluntarily take a break from the test cricket. It is shame and a torture that we do not have to endure time and again.

Could somebody provide a bearkdown of age vs run socred in the tests.

For example

20 - 22 55runs
22 -24 30 runs

etc.

Or vs. years of experience .vs. run chart.

Runs in Y-axis and experience in x-axis.

i can tell one thing. regardless of their age our batsmen play with the goal of reaching 20s. as soon as they reach 20, they start playing silly shots. that is unless they start playing silly shots from the very begining.

I agree. They are not seemed to be a least bit concerned after being humiliated.

Although DW says, "Shahriar Nafees scoring a 50 was fine. He should have not got out but the effort he showed and reaction in the dressing room when he got out, is more I want to see. He was totally disappointed."
