I honestly do not understand the process anymore. How does this work? Like 8 games were played for the 5th match spot, including BD. Now they are playing for the 7th? Dahell? I thought since BD lost, they would be the 6th? Don't stretch the tourney.

all the losing team have to face each other before they decides on the position. so there were 4 losers from QT and bd faced england (2 already) and pak faced wi(other 2 already) now losers of those two games will face each other and winners will face each others. hence Eng vs WI and Pak vs BD.

note: i am not sure weather pak lost their game to wi or some other team...

among the 4 teams, each plays one other team for the 5th and 6th place playoff. The losers play for 7/8th place while the winner plays for 5/6th place

Pakistan probably has one of the weakest batting lineup this year; in fact all the sub-continent teams were pretty bad this year with their batting line-ups or it could be the Aussie conditions. With a score of 200 plus should win the match for Bangladesh... but then again BDvsPAK match is like an ego match;
