He plays a lot like Nasir. A very energetic fielder and bats with lots of aggression and fearlessness. That being said, he still has a ways to go before he can be a Nasir 2.0. Dont forget how inconsistent he was in the DPL compared to Nasir. Also will Shabbir be as good as Nasir has been in Tests? Nasir has the best average on the team in Tests. So long ways to go still for Shabbir. I really hope he comes through. He's a fun player to watch once he gets going.

Lol. I'm one the culprits for his hype but watching him in bpl he looked promising and now statistically superior in his short career..can't do worse than lala..

Shabbir, Taijul, Taskin next big things imo

Who is this Taijul Islam? Does he bowl or bat? Or Wicket keeper? How fast can he bowl? Can he bowl Dusra or even better Tesra?

Where is he from? From North or from south? Or is he from East?

How tall is he? 5' 2" or 6' 2"?

Is he Ashraful type over-hyped or Anamul type over-hyped?

Shabbir Rahman is pretty hyped on this forum. Yes, he has earned his place in the T20 squad but the calls for his inclusion in the ODI and Test teams are over the top in my opinion. He has done nothing in those formats in domestic cricket to warrant a call-up.

This time the hype is completely justified. Don't think anyone has ever displayed this sort of consistency at the domestic level. Even if he fails he completely deserves his opportunity.

Almost all of our players are little over hyped than their true potentials, that includes even Shakib...is he Compareable to Kallis or Sobers? Many of us do that, which is pretty over hyped.

So you can calculate the hype level of the remaining players well I don't mind a little hyping up, until we have a true legend

Shakib is one of the best spin all rounders ever, tough to compare him to Kallis and sobers as they are more batting all rounders who were known more for their fast medium bowling where as shakib is a more genuine all rounder who bowls spin. But yeah we do hype a lot of players.

As for liton I agree, don't remember anyone having this consistency over all the formats for this period of time.

doesn't matter if the hype is justified or not, it still is a hype( atleast that is how i see it ),
and I agree he deserved to be in the odi squad against Pak, our other openers Tamim,Vij,Kaedge are walking wickets.

^yeah as far as pecking order goes, its Fizz, AA/Mash, and then Taskin/Rubel.

^Current Mash over Taskin and Rubel? I would disagree. I think it's more like Fizz, AA/Taskin, Rubel, Mash. Taskin has shown more wicket-taking ability and ability to slow the rr down in the first 10 overs and middle overs. Al-Amin on the other hand is not too good at those but he is a much better death over bowler than Taskin and picks up more wickets in the last 10. So it evens out I would say + Taskin is getting better at the death with his fast yorkers and slower deliveries.

We will have to wait and see whether Taskin's confidence is same as before though. That will be the difference.

Musatfiz -> Taskin-> Rubel->Al Amin-> Mash

This should be the line up. BUT, I will take Mash as captain regardless how good a bowler currently he is though.
