Haven't voted yet. Being fair on Shane. Under him we have done well IN PARTICULAR for 3 ODI series (2 at home and one in SL) also done well at tests scoring big drawing tests matches, to list a few things of what we have done well under him.

Big disappoint under Shane is that we haven't won any of the format series during the last tour of Zim. SL home series was depressing because it was so close, we pushed them;had some gamesin the bag for long periods of the match, but in the end we couldn't Finnish it off and it cant be blamed at Shane. But this loss against Afghans has to be the biggest disappointment under Shane.

I'd give it until after the World T20. If BD get's k'o'ed in the first round, then that will be the time to say goodbye and good-luck.

No doubt things are looking ugly and not good under him lately players seem too relaxed and casual, Nasir wont take his sun glass of at all and is acting like his favourite movie hero or something. The Players seem to be taking things for granted, work rate seems pathetic, Razzak looks dull as ever. Mushy seems clueless how to set field according to the match situation. The biggest of all is the pathetic fielding its never ending it seems!!!

We're good at passing the buck.
It's high time we hold players responsible for their failure.
Changing coach gives this sissies more reason not to be accountable.

Even god can't help these morons!

Unfortunately seeing the fitness and fielding departments in the past few months I think the coach hasn't put enough effort. I think it's time we get a new coach.

Why do we even discuss sacking SJ when he has not been given the authority by the Board to tame the spoiled kids?
Suppose BD beat Pakistan and have a close game with S-Lanka, and ends Asia Cup with net run rate
higher than Afghaniztan. Would you guys accept the result as fair, given the fact that the BD team is enduring a bad patch. Loss to Afghanistan is so far the only upset in Asia Cup. Remember Pak was about to lose with Afghanistan. I guess we did not have our fair share of upsets in this tournament yet

You hit the nail.

Coach doesn't have the authority to discipline our star players. He knows if they complain his job will be at stake.

Captain cannot discipline his superstar players, because if he does they will be against him.

Selectors cannot make the hard choice, if they do superstars will complain to BCB and public and they will be in problem.

BCB executives cannot make the hard choice, because that requires dropping some favorite players and that will make fans mad.

Now that it looks like BCB is supporting discipline some bad apples in the team. are we, the fans, ready to support that even that means short term suffering in team performance?

As for me I will support them, something need to change, accountability must be re-set and discipline must be enforced. If it means three games bad to Sakib (which they did) or dropping talented player like Nasir or Rubel to send a signal, so be it, I will support 100% to the team management,

He should be sacked as the bowling coach first. He's been our bowling coach for over 2 years now and couldn't improve a single pace bowler. they are all same like they were 4 years before.

We need a new pace bowling coach. BCB er matobbor ra taka bachanor jonne shudhu 2 in 1 khoje. Shala ra khali nijeder pocket kemne full korbe shetai dekhe.

We also need a batting coach. Not 2 in 1 coach like correy or whatever his name is.

I think Shane is okay as the head coach.

Yep, looks like time for SJ to go. Pacers look like real crap nowadays, can't even hold their line and length. Looks like he is not making players work hard on fielding drills either.

We need a taskmaster to get the players back in shape again.

His impact as a bowling coach has been poor.

Otherwise I think he was looking as an "ok" head coach but if he fails in his area of expertise he has no place in BD

Well perhaps we don't need fans like you

Today was one of those days we suffered from Afridi's hurricane. Not much we could do about it now could we? We batted well, bowled well apart from razzak and Shafi, fielded well. As for Mushy's captaincy it was looking good although giving the ball to Razzak was a blunder

But overall bowling is very much on the decline-spin, pace. Someone needs to be accountable for it.

Afghanistan's bowling is far superior to us. And no its not just their strength and power. Its application, and strong basics. Knowing what are your limitations and not doing anything extra and unnecessary.
