Why we bengali are so in-discipline??

Ok buddy, lets make some self-critism. Why we are so indiscipline, emotional, have to love for our country and have to high ambition?

Of the qualities that you specify, only indiscipline is negative.

Rest are subjective, could be postive or negative. Humans aren't machines, so they will be emotional, patriotic and ambitious. Depending on one's life experience these qualities will define individuals and an overall society. I don't see anything bad with this. Too much of something is bad but that is another issue. I guess the question is, are we having too much of these qualities.

Well horpor, there's nothing wrong with loving your own country and having high ambitions. Now whether the ambitions/expectations are unrealistic, is a different question altogether. Everyone in this world is emotional to some extent, so are we. But I've to admit we are a bit too emotional, and over-react on triffling matters. You'll see the example of that on this board alone.

I really wish I knew why we are so indisciplined. I'd have loved to be more disciplined myself. But why we are so indisciplined as a whole nation remains a mystery. Maybe Shubho bhai and Orphy can give us some humourous insights into this.

ps: Hasib, you tell us so many stuff about your school, e.g. biology experiment, rowing competition, and what not. I was just wondering if you guys have any English class at all. If you're wondering why I'm asking this, umm... well... ermmm.. Your spellings remind me of my childhood days when I used to "ko kho go banan kore kore porte shikhtam". :P

A mandetory military training for our youth should be introduced in Bangladesh. As for our urban middle class youth, baper hotel-e khete khete tel(oil) jome geche.

But look at our peasant! The sad victim of our semi-feudal corporate capitalist country, who has been cultivating crop in a most disciplined manner for ages. I don't agree that our mass people practice an indiscipline life.
