Bangladesh needs to tune up their bowling. Seeing how easily we lost despite scoring 260, 296 was disheartening. Hopefully bowlers, specially spinners will live up to expectations this time around.

This is the best chance Bangladesh has got in recent times to beat Sri Lanka. (Of course the Tigers beat SL against greater odds last year.) Sri Lanka cricket is revamping the national side and as of now the team is full of new comers who are good but need more experience. Conversely, the Tigers are a team that is settled in beautifully. Last night they played the Indians like any other major league team would play them and getting 296/6 was great; the body language and the confidence too were great.

A player to watch is Dinesh Chandimal, just out of school but no respecter of names. He is just 20 and recently he was given a side game against the Kiwis and he promptly responded with a scintillating century, just like he used to do in school, SL Under 19 and senior club games. He is a wicket-keeper batsman (mostly the latter) looking to hit the cover off the ball every time he goes out to bat, irrespective of who the bowler is.

Another player to watch is Thissara Perera, who too doesn't see the bowler but sees only the ball.
