Honestly, I don't want to lose any match on this tour. Not easy I know but it's time we start making strides as a team and really distance ourselves from the lesser ranked opponents. That included Zimbabwe as well.

Ireland is a formidable opponent at home. They think of us as their equal or slightly ahead. They will play their skins out to beat us. So I am not sure if we can beat them 3-0. I am not worried about Scot, Net.

Yup the Irish come out hard every game. So our boys better be ready.

The two match series was leveled as 1-1 when we played against Ireland in Ireland last time. So lets not start jumping.

Toss was important last time. Whoever will win toss chooses to field in Ireland. 3 Spinners will be cardinal sin. Bowling attack must contain 3 seamer.

ZIMBABWE Cricket (ZC) has finally agreed to have the postponed Bangladesh tour to Zimbabwe moved to April next year.
The Tigers were scheduled to tour Zimbabwe in August this year for two Tests, three One-Day-Internationals and two Twenty20s, but this had to be re-scheduled after the hosts indicated they have some work to do on their pitches in Harare and Bulawayo.

In the long term toss shouldnt be blamed...if you are a better team. You will win.

Play your best bowlers...doesn't matter if 3 spinner is the answer..... You can't throw in a crap pacer keeping a better bowler in the bench....

I am not sure if you have been to England or Ireland and specially this summer, which I doubt I can call it summer. I am sure other BC-ites will confirm. Today was like monsoon.

Apart from Shakib, I have no confidence in any spinners in this wet soggy condition.

If you play 3 spinners because you dont have any good pacers then pray you win the toss and elected to field.

The WG Grace formula of win the toss bat first will give you major shock even against Scotland.

Its a chasers game unfortunately.

November 2012 - West Indies, home. 2 tests, 5 ODI's, 2 T20's.

according to FTP its only one T-20. I would rather have 3 Tests 3 ODI and 2 T-20i.

If WI pick the same team or similar team as they did for T20 WC...we r doomed in every single game, every single format

No matches in ZACS right? So I guess 1 Test and 2 ODIs in Khulna (does Khulna have test status?) and the rest of the games in Mirpur.

Yes I read somewhere ZACS is going through renovation due to poor drainage facility.

Are they done working on the Sylhet stadium yet? I know it already got approved by ICC. Maybe they can host the WI T20 game there. T20 only lasts for 3 hours, so shouldn't be all that hard to host. This will give BCB a better understanding if anything else needs to be done/added in order to start hosting ODI or Test matches.

Matches in Sylhet would be a great idea provided the stadium is up to par. One of the reasons BCB never schedules matches outside Dhaka and CTG is production costs would go up in the more venues we use. I think thats kind of lame, but maybe its true.

Transportation and hotel accommodation are also a concern. But that shouldn't be a problem in Sylhet. As far as I know it's a 30 minute flight from Dhaka to Sylhet. Sylhet also has some pretty nice hotels.

Here is a video mo bhai uploaded last year. Litta said Sylhet would host games in 2012. And sathe amader rthomontri o taal disen.

30 minutes flight from Dhaka to Sylhet and 5 minute car ride to the ground. Thats how close the ground is. Sylhet have few quality hotel, Rose View got praised by England U-19 when they toured Bangladesh last year. Grand Sylhet's work is in progress and should be open before World T-20 in 2014.
