As anticipated and prayed for, I am here to congratulate myself and the rest of the fans of Bangladesh Cricket team on this historic World Cup win against the (mighty!) India. We were swept aside by Indian fans and media alike but the die hard fans from both Bangladesh and overseas (including all our regulars here including Ian and many others that I can't recall with my weary drooling eyes) kept hope and prayers with the team. Hope that this is a beginning of a new chapter in our cricketing history, one that is full of joy and hope and expectations.
Again, congratulations and job well done!

What a wonderful day in my life.

Beating India in the world cup was my dream and that's now part of history.

I was always confident about our boys and repeatedly said that in different threads and in my articles.

Bangladesh now belong to the big league. I will not be surprised if they also defeat Sri Lanka in the next match.

Bangladesh outperformed India in every department. Our U-19 boys showed they are ready to conquer the world.

I am really relieved to see Bd being able to build a partnership and cruise to victory. The partnership was really necessary.

all i have to say is that it didn't occur for a moment that IND is the so called "favorite" to win. it seemed that there's something mysteriously wrong about the betting odds of 8-1 for india. b'desh just completely outclassed india. dat bhanga jobab.

I am really sad and really happy at the same time. I did not know such feeling exists. I'm still sad from Lose of Rana and now happy from winning a game of a life time. Yes, we will Inshallah go to 2nd round and then off to semis. If Ireland can go to 2nd round, we can for sure, as the 1st team of sub continent.
