wikipedia confirms that too.

Its unfair to Zimbabwe, but somehow if we failed to qualify that will be a disaster.

Do we know for sure how was the grouping done? My guess is ICC did it, not BCB.

We all know that ICC does not play a fair game though! But if it was done through the qualifying results in UAE, then what can we say?

UAE was doing great before the 18th over. Johnston plundered for 22 runs. Now UAE has a hard climb in their chase.

So Ireland gets to 147/8 in 20 overs. 10 runs more than what they should have had. We will see how UAE chases.

Well Nepal was a surprise entry to the semis. Scotland had same points and head to head won against Nepal.

I consider Holland as a good team. They have couple of good players. Scotland can be good at their soil as well with some assistance from ECB.

Wikipedia means nothing! U and I can edit Wikipedia. I'm pretty certain the champion goes in Zim's group and runner up in ours.

Here is the answer to the golden query:

Saturday night's winner in Abu Dhabi will have what on paper is an easier match-up by taking on Zimbabwe along with two other Associates in Group B of the next qualifier to advance into the "Super 10s". The runner-up will have the unenviable task of taking on Bangladesh on home soil, and defeat in that game will almost certainly prevent them from advancing to face Australia, India, Pakistan and West Indies in the main draw. After spending three weeks competing at the qualifier in the UAE and working hard to get to Bangladesh, it would be a cruel fate to not even get the opportunity to test themselves against the rest of the Full Members.

Fantastic achievement from Nepal to finish 3rd! This is probably their greatest achievement. Hopefully they can take the confidence from their performance into the 2015 World Cup qualifiers to qualify for 50 over event too.

^ Didn't Bangladesh beat them in the Asia cup games? Afgan played with their full squad while we had the likes of S. Hossain in our team ... speaks volume.
