Default [POLL] Islam is explained in Quran+Hadith or Just Quran?

Hello people,

If you are a Muslim, then answer this, or give your views.
If you are NOT a Muslims, just read and laugh.
If you hate Islam, dont read, its a waste of time.

POLL Question:

How do we learn and follow Islam?

Select ONE(1) from below:

1. From Quran, Hadith(Sunnah) and Lives of Sahabah(companion of Prophet Mohammed S.A.W)

2. From Quran only,

3. From my mind, I speak to Allah directly, and HE tells me
what to do.

1.

It says all in the
Qur'an, Sunnah, and examples of sahabas. If we need something and don't find it in the above three, we make our decision according to islam. Islam has all the answers.

I am not convinced that Hadiths still apply in this day and age. And some of the Hadiths make absolutely no sense to me. Also, I am very skeptical of the authenticity of Hadiths. Generally, anything signed off by a certain Abu Huraira (which, incidentally, means 'Father of Cats') kind of freaks me out. Above all, Hadiths are not God's word. All we know with close to 100% certainty is that the Qur'an, and only the Qur'an, is God's word. So, I choose to rely entirely on the Book.

Whether people follow hadith or not is a matter of personal preference. I choose not to. Simple as that. I see no reason why I suddenly become a better Muslim by not calling people by their nicknames, by not clipping my fingernails at night, by growing a beard, by eating dates, etc, etc. But that's just me.

Why only 2 Nasif bhai? I thought we need to follow Hadiths too, we follow just Quran when there is a conflict b/w Hadith and Quran.

"I bear witness there is no God but Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the messenger of Allah"

Mridul pardon my ignorance but how can you bear witness to what you said? Or is it something symbolic that you have to say as a part of your faith? Also, what is the context of what you said to the what is being discussed. Or did i miss something?

i should apologise first for not clearing the post......when a person start believing that..."There is no other God but Allah and Muhammad(peace be upon him) is the messenger of Allah"....the person has become Muslim then......

have u ever heard/read the following?

"Ash-hadu Allah ilaha-illa Allahu, wa ash-hadu anna muhammadur rasul-Allah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam)"...its Arabic and it means:

"I bear witness there is no God but Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his messenger".

...I believe in Allah and his messenger...as a Muslim I am obliged to obey my creator Allah and to follow the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).........so I go for 1
