i dont know why people hate jahu so much. hes one of the rare BD batsmen who actually look busy in the middle and look to rotate the strike. if he can overcome his weakness against short ball '(like 100s of BD batsmen play short ball well) he can be a very good no.3 or 4
Jahurul might not be a prodigy or a super talent but he's still a player that can succeed at the highest level. I thought that he should've gotten another series at the #3 since he did pretty well in the Asia Cup and also because Shakib was not playing. He should be in the SL series as a backup top order batsman.
No question about the fact that he looked good. He was quick between wickets and rotated strike. I certainly want this guy to be given more chances in the national team.
That's what I like about him - pushes hard for ones and twos. Good fitness levels. And with such strong bottom hand, he can really give them a whack. I see him as a fine ODI prospect at least. He does play short bowling OK, but his backfoot game in general is a bit weak.
Good to see Jahurul amongst the runs today. Needs to add some more shots to his repertoire. I want him to be given a run at #3 in ODIs and Tests in Sri Lanka.
Well, nothing I haven't seen before. Strong bottom handed shots with good rotation of strike. Wouldn't mind him in ODIs at all, but plenty of candidates at the mo for the ODI spot.

Well, I don't see anything wrong with a 50-performing-Shezda to be honest. He's not giving up after a 50. He's just expressing his gratitude after reaching a milestone.

Jahurul may not be as talented as many others in the team but he has shown signs of capability. He deserves to be in the National team's radar if not the National team itself. Bench strength matters quite a lot.

What I also like about Jahurul is that he's versatile. He usually bats in the top order but can also bat down the order and play cameos. Also not to mention he can keep although he's not a great keeper. He seems to be a smart and busy player who constantly looks for ways to score.

Exactly (for both Bold comments). Unlike Test and ODI, quick 50 (i.e. with SR 140+)is actually someting to celebrate, specially for a player who is trying to get back in the national team....its not that he already a superstar yet.... he is trying his best to come back in the limelight and these 50s are helping his cause... so oits okj form him to celebrate however he wants.
