Dont know what the laws is, but I wonder if one can sue a newspaper for spreading false rumours?

Valid question. If it is posted online, it may fall into the periphery of new digital law.

They are taking about passing some digital law. Although I fear that is just an excuse to put someone in jail and squash freedom of speech by the current party.

However I feel people need to be protected from the media agencies who spread false rumours like this.
