Go Khulna. My grandpa is from that division, so always have a soft spot for them.

Until Shadab arrives the best XI should be

Walton
Klinger
Shanto
Riyad
Malan
Brathwaite
Ariful
Abott
Mosharraf
Abu Jayed
Shafiul

Until u19s and Shadab arrives

^^ No Saif-Afif till end of Asia U/19 Cup, ie Nov 20.

I would definitely include Michael Klinger in the first XI.

Michael Klinger joins Khulna Titans

Klinger is a very interesting signing. A very experienced and consistent player in this format and his records are great. It remains to be seen how he performs in our conditions because he has zero experience here. But yea I would definitely slot him ahead of Rossow

Like the team, But I would keep Yasir Ali or even Dhiman Ghosh ahead of Ariful. With so many allrounders already in the team, don't think Arif will be all that needed.

Shafiul should get in based on his performances last year. But don't think it will be outlandish to consider Imran Ali in his place, based on current forms.

the thing is, is there a lot of point playing Yasir that low down the order? He would be a good no.3 or 4 but playing him at no.7 makes littlse sense and we cant afford to push him up in expense of Shanto, Riyad, Malan, Carlos. But I too wanted him in the side. Maybe if the team requires stability down the road, he can come in pushing Carlos down the order. And I would think Ariful can hit it better then Dhiman who is only there as a backup keeper.

I am really iffy on Shafiul playing but I think the conditions will suit him better. Wish Khulna released him, they couldve gone for Hider, Al Amin, Rabbi.

^^ Carlos B actually is ideal for a short burst at #7. Yasir has been scoring fast enough lately to be at #6.

with that batting order though, Klinger-Shanto-Riyad-Malan... I dont believe no.7 will have time to burst. It will have to be no.5 and 6 mostly

Carlos these days is a better bowler than batsman, at least that was how he was in CPL.

I guess on these SC wickets he'll go full beast mode with the bat

Super excited to see Shanto and Walton. Walton had an outstanding CPL and Shanto is probably our biggest batting prospect to date.

Isam: Khulna bristle with international firepower

I am assuming Mahela will give few chances to his unique find Akila Dananjaya, even though Dananjaya has failed to live up to the hype so far.

If Akila find a good rhythm, he will be among the top wicket takers

Rilee Rossouw should feel pretty safe about his spot in the team based on his form in Pakistan Super League and NatWest Blast. With such competition among foreign players, Malan is more likely to be benched.

Alfonso Thomas is there as well as the assistant coach. Hopefully likes of Shafiul, Imran, and Abu Jayed will learn from him how to bowl better at death.

KT doing good promos around Khulna Division, holding media events etc. They seem well professional franchise, know what their doing for their franchise and the division of the team. I like that. Only two KT and SS doing that best.

Yasir Ali looks very fit and almost unrecognizable from his U/19 days!

Sarfraz has been released by Titans. Besides their domestic T20, PCB is also in talk with WICB about an ODI series. So, centrally contracted Pakistani players may play only a few matches in BPL.

news for Khulna and others. South African players are available.. go get em!
Khulna didnt really have a place for Sarfaraz. it will suck if Shadab is released though. Comilla is set for a blow

Saif and Afif joined the Titans camp, and are working with Mahela.

Quote:
“He is a great batsman and also one of my favourite players as I followed him since my childhood. I will try to learn as much I can from him. He said to me during the net session that as I have returned from a different format I should try to stay busy and rotate the strike. And then I can play my shots and even If I get out there is no problem,” - Saif

What I like about Khulna Titans is that they pick low key low profile impact players...With Riyad in charge, and everyone else making useful contributions around him, they have a pretty solid team. I expect them to reach final four.
