I always liked him as a coach from the beginning and liked the way how he tries to stay away from the limelight, but now after seeing this interview it was really amazing to see how much passion and belief he has for our team and is exactly the type of coach that we need at this stage for our players to take our cricket to the next level. I really hope BCB doesn't do anything stupid and try everything possible to renew his contract once it expires after this world cup irrespective of the results.

An excellent interview and some very mature words. I like Steve Rhodes from his Worcestershire days which happens to be county I support. He is a good man.
I believe we have a good mentor. He is the only English coach among the 10 teams which tells something. I believe we can beat Australia with current ability.

he is a great mentor. He did really well in county cricket with that awful worcs team from 2010 to 2016
