Default The Tigers at the T20 WC 2014

Following da Boss's lead, I am opening a thread for the tigers for the T20 WC. Despite being the host, Bangladesh has to play the qualifiers! Hopefully, a turnaround is near. Here are the upcoming matches for the Tigers.

1st Match, Qualifying Group A: Bangladesh v Afghanistan at Dhaka
Mar 16, 2014 (15:30 local | 09:30 GMT | 05:30 EDT | 04:30 CDT | 02:30 PDT)

6th Match, Qualifying Group A: Bangladesh v Nepal at Chittagong
Mar 18, 2014 (19:30 local | 13:30 GMT | 09:30 EDT | 08:30 CDT | 06:30 PDT)

After todays performance, I would be happy with a 1 wicket-last ball win against Honk Kong. Respectable losses against Afghanistan and Nepal will do for me.

Its a fair verdict. We got lucky ICC did not as us to qualify by going through the inter-continetal cup. We won't do jack in this world cup with lalla the lulla's and mullah's. It was anyone's guess, but Early exit is confirmed after today's show.

He's been listening to too many of Mushy's interviews. Notice how he says "yeah definitely".

This is it guys. Lose and the whole tournament will be dumpstar fire. So the first game decides if we will be a gracious host or sore loser.

Wish them all the best.

^ Right. I really hope Bangladesh doesn't underestimate Nepal. The job is not done yet. Just because Afghanistan collapsed doesn't mean other teams will too. Nepal might come into our game just as relaxed so we have to continue to play our A game.

I do't know, Naim. Mind you, I just caught the fag end of that match, and their spinners didn't seem to be getting that much turn.

That said, yes, there's no reason for complacency. Go after them like a professional outfit, and win.

^ Late game, with lack of grip it should be a close game. And if we play extra pacers... Allah knows how much run is going to leak with Al Amin / Rubel's conditions.
