We bowled poor today. Zim could be restricted around 220 to 230.
Lets see how our boys bat to day. Hope they win this match.

A very poor captaincy from Bashar? He should learn from Taibu how to use his bowlers when it is necessary

tapash and nazmul should've bowled the slog overs. poor captaincy indeed.
but its okay. 251 on this track against zim bowling should be achieved by our batsmen.

We bowled poor today - I agree.
The day started badly for us - losing the toss in a day-night match. Usually, we struggle in batting when we bat second in a day-nighter.
Then again, we bowled and fielded pretty poorly today; and what was that no ball call by the umpire last over of ZIM innings? TV replay showed that Sujon didn't cross over the line while landing foot.
And it is a general trend in our cricket that when we bowl and field badly, we bat well and vice versa. This will be put under a real 'test' today; especially since the target is so big - 252.
At the start, we bowled badly, but our fielding was very sharp, but then our fielding started to go bad as we were getting hammered by Masakadza especially. Then for a very brief period of time, we bowled and fielded better - as we should have bowled and fielded throughout the day. But then again, our fielding and bowling started to dip in the last 10 overs.
So, its a mixed bag. So, can we chase those runs?

Bad Captaincy?
I was wondering why Sumon didn't use the full quotas of two of his specialist bowlers (Tapash & Nazmul)?? 7 overs were left unused between them.......that could make a difference. 251 is a very big total under light. I think if Sumon had brought his pacers on Zim would'tt have scored 251......may be 220/230 or so, which's fairly achievable.
I guess BD has just lost the match because of this bad decision. Still keeping the fingures crossed!!

Somehow I feel optimistic today even though we have to chase under light but feel confident to clinch this match.
But of course Bashar and Ash must have to score 70+ or something like that.

normally, to chase 251 under light should be too much..against any attack.. But this is a new Bangladesh.. playing 150 overs to draw atest match.. so who knows... as long as we do not have a start like 4/20 or something like that , we will be in the hunt.. Need a long innings from any of the top three... and also a special from someone in the middle.. unfortunately the tail is very thin.. so if it is done, it will be by the top 7...
a real test..
