Bowlers did their job right and fielders seems did the job right too. Those run outs could be the key to our win today.

Didn't watch it, but Farhad Raza! To come in at 5-76 and score a 50 on debut is remarkable. I hope he matures to become a consistent performer. Really, you can't go past Mashud for MOM.
Batted sensibly throughout his Innings to reach 48*, and backed it up with 3 catches behind the stumps. I thought he was a little arrogant after the comments he made on his position prior to this series, but he really has put his money where his mouth is.
Question marks over JO's position, but otherwise, very pleased with the win.

Yeah, MOM should be Mashud of course, he was holding one side and contributed 3 crucial partnership. That's how partnership should be build up after every wicket fall. Great job Mashud ( once again ).

Post Mortem
Today's match had an uncanny relationship to yesterday's. Only the Chigumbura / Matsikinyeri partnership was not allowed to spoil the party from BD point of view.
The 5th bowler fiasco contributed to our pathetic display yesterday. Aftab was taken off too early ! The Ashraful bowling experiment was a disaster.
Today, after the usual batting debacle, we made our expected recovery. Young Reza deserves a lot of credit. Rafique , both for a restrained innings from his point of view [ please note: Ashraful and Aftab ] as well as tight bowling. Mashud for magnificently shepharding the batting to the end of 50 overs and setting up the victory.
Clearly, Shahadat has become the main strike bowler. He leaks runs but, importantly, takes wickets. However, I would like to see Rasel play. If the wicket is pace friendly, then Razzak can make way for Rasel. Reza, at least for the time being is here to stay.

Good win for Bangladesh in a real bad day to follow cricket.
BC was unaccessible for most part of the match.
After Bangladesh's innings, no video was online and no update at all on the web. Everything stopped BBC, Cricinfo, Cricbuzz, Sportinglife. And for the first time there was no audio in paltalk.
Got some updates through platalk members and and had to call Bangladesh regularly.
Banglacricket's performance in the match day is really pathetic, can we imrpove it???

Such a relief..I was going to come up with a thread of "Backfire: Bangladesh now face whitewashing by Zimb" or something like that
Our batting is again concern for just few batsmen. They are the top order goes there, leaves early, and putting the team in a such a state of pressure that only batsmen with nerves can uplift the team. Reza did it today, but how long it will happen. Today both JO,SN, Ash and our captain left with score less than 100. I was so scared that we will loose again today. If they can't play shots, what the hell do they practice. How difficult the Zimb bowlers could be than our bowlers. If they are almost same, why they fail each time. I believe they are just practicing in net but not trying to find gaps. Most of our batsmen, except fews, are really bad with finding gaps and rotating strikes. When we will learn how to play shots only bad balls and learn to rotate the strikes.
I am glad our spinners showed a better performance. Especially two "R" SLA's did the job today way better than yesterday. I am worried about Mash as I am not sure he was bowling with slow speed and also fragile sometimes. Playing too much might hamper him more. Good thing is, Shahadat took the responsiblity in absence of Mash's aggression.

There are quite a few things to worry about from today's game. For instance, once again our batsmen got starts but nobody went on to score real big. 238 is by no means a comfortable total. Then, the run rate in the Zimbabwe inning is also something to be disgruntled about.
However, I guess all's well that ends well, and while the struggle of our batsmen is really something to frown upon, it was a comfortable win in the end, and the players deserve credit for that. This is a depleted Zimbabwe side with far less experience than us, and I would like to think of the first game as an upset. Let's make it 4-1 from here.

I was watching the clips of the match during the ATN Bangla news, and there was this one scene where he got this batsman out and was giving him the look of an angry bull who'd just been teased with a red piece of cloth. Oi chehara dekhle jekono batsmaner heart fail korar kotha.
PS: Looks like Pilot khepse. It was always going to happen, I guess.
