Why not Shahadat and Talha? Though Shanto is a friend of mine and we played cricket together, I don't see the justification on bringing him back.

I was hoping for another pressure cooker situation for the indian batsman, but not it's not meant to be. We are lacking the penatration in the bowling dept.

yeah why not talha - he had just played these guys in a test,

shanto goes for 4. sometimes i think these selectors are stupider than I am. Atahar yakking in the commentary box - why doesn't he justify this selection????

BD winning back to back is as likely as hasina and khaleda getting together for breakfast tomorrow.

Yeah this really just doesnt make sense. I can understand we lacking pacers since both tapash and Nazmul are out. But in that case any two from Talha, Tareq, Sharif, Shahadat would be a natural choice. And instead of Mushfiq Babu, Rana would be a better choice. The replacement pacers that are playing are a liability to our batting lineup and depletes our bowling power as well. I dunno how Dav can pull this off.

not to be pesimistic, but I got a feeling that Sehwag will bring the whole nation back on earth today with the help of no Taposh and Nazmul.

even with tapash and nazmul, we probably would have been brought back to earth. we just need to get their absence out of our heads. It's done.

But somewhere sometime I would like to hear/read the logic for these type of replacements.

Mashrafee bowling well. Although without good support from other bowlers not sure how long he can keep a decent average.

Pathan is not in the Indian line up. It is good to see Joginder Sharma retained in the side in recognitition to his nerveless batting in the second ODI. With the return of Dravid, Indian batting hub is restored and I do not foresee a turmoil in Indian batting line up today.
