I love to see a big score like 500, however, equally ready for early lost of wkts, which is the common characteristics of our team

let's just have our fingers crossed & say all te nofol prayers we can inorder to prevent another "Canada" incident...ppl r saying dat ZIM didn't play test ccricket for 6 months...hell canada adn't played any cricket 5 3-4 months before the last world cup as they didn't have any field due to snow...granted there's no Heath Streak nor Flower brothers...but mind u guys, quite a few of these young ZIM players got test 50s against stronger teams...I'm not a passimist...kintu ki r kora->

and as a highly enthusiastic bd fan...this is the best opportunity for a BD top order batsman to score a double century ...as long as->
1. Bashar & Ash dun try to pull
2. JO takes his sweet time (20 overs) to settle himself down)
3. Rajin Saleh keeps in mind dat he can bat better than any of these ZIM batsmen
4. Nafis-> just repeat what u did in the 2nd ODI against India...only dun lose the wicket trying to get a risky single
5. Watch out for the short ones frm Douglas Hondo (speially Ash & Bashar)

Win the toss, bat, put up a score and then try and take wickets.
Then bat again, and give yourself four sessions to bowl them out.

ya win toss bat first & get atleast 400+ ...... that wll be good
lol everyone seems so confidence to get about 400+ runs.. why u ppl r so confidence this time?? caz zim dont have good bowling attact?? but dont forget our batsman lose too many early wicket... if they still lose too many wicket first 25 overs.. then i have nothing else to say..

Bd should bowl first, if the pitch gets dead for batting why will anybody bat first?
Also it will help to test whether Zim is really good with the bat as they played against BCCB XI.

This will not be a walk in the park, let me assure you...looking forward to a good contest.
I like the look of our side, but also the Zim side is competitive.
Zim strength is in their batting so to win this match we need to score a lot of runs against their weak bowlers, and then our stronger bowlers need to take care of their stronger batsmen.

i think our batsmen are a different lot after ash's 158* and india ODI performances...there will still be silly outs, and bashar's hooks/pulls but still i think a better bunch.
zims are no pushovers but lets see how strong their batting is...masri, tapash are no shahadat, shafaq. those two big S's have no intl match experience. even less than Zims batsmen.

what i read was that balls will start to spin viciously from the second day. so, if BD wins the toss they must bat first.
