sad but why, it seems we r losing before playing, one batsman or bowler can make a difference, but still they r picking Rock. we have already seen in 20 20 world cup, what he has done.................................how funny our management.

why do we need Rock to steady up when we have Ash, Mushy Sakib, riyadh who can slog and steadying up the innings, when every ball is important in 20 20. We can instead use a spin bowler, Alok or Razzak (as we know opposition is not good playing spin) who can hit a six, make a contribution with bat as well.

how funny Siddions and Management, they always lack ghilu

The exclusion of Razzak is more than justified, he looked like a 2nd division bowler in the tri nation, with bowling half trackers twice an over. He looked worse than Nayeem with the ball.
Plus, Rajib/Shafiul both have performed tremendously well in the last series, and have earned the spot. 3 pacers in NZ, makes perfect sense

BTW Saqlain Sajib got another 6fer yesterday....how long will he be ignored?
Off the topic though, should he play all the matches in NCL, he might end up with 100 wickets in NCL this season.

With Razzak a proven failure in Tests, and Enamul failing to deliver, he stands a GOOD CHANCE to test the technique of the english!

I totally agree with you. But If that is the case then how come they didn't select other spinner like Shuvo to replace Razzak? We have strength in spin bowling, shouldn't we use it? Be it Razzaq or Shuvo or someone else. Remember in T20/ODI when our pacers get hamered, it is our spinners who slow down the run rate.

By the way, Saqlain Sajib is having a time of his life in NCL. Perhaps our BD Mendis or BD Saqlain Mustaq, spinning with dosra and tesra in every match. Kicking everyone's pants off.

I hope all those fan's pan-pani about Rokibul will stop ....

Yes Rakibul may not suite for your ideal T20 team, but our team is nowhere near ideal.

When Dashing Tamim scored 14 runs with SR 155
When "Talent-e Tosh toshe" Motin scored 11 runs with SR 78
When Dashing Aftab scored 12 runs with SR 85
When Super Duper Sakib scored 2 runs with SR 60
When steady rahim scored a duck with SR 0
When solid Riyad scored 11 runs with SR 47
When chokka Naeem scored 5 runs with SR 45

The ugly duckling Rokibul scored 18 runs with SR 138

So if you need to do further pan-panani, then I suggest do that for the right reason that our super talented dashing top order. When your top 7 batsman fails, it doesn't matter whether its Rokibul, Kobirul or Korimul is playing at #8 slot.

How come the supposedly most slowpoke player scored the most run with second best SR in the team?

So may be its not the coach but some of the fans know less only that they don't realize that.....

Thats because the game was already over by then. Even Rafiq could have done better than that. Even Ziaur could have done better. #8 is reserved for an alrounder. He in no alrounder and no T20 batsman. Only the dumb selectors like ours will selelct him, any other team, including Nigeria would discard him for T20.

With your "could have ... should have" scenario, ofcourse anything isn possible...even someone could claim Junaid would have scored a century...however these kind of scenario is based on speculation not fact as in reality they didn't played in that game and therefore one can claim equally that Rafiq/Ziaul would have scored a duck with SR 0 and he will be equally correct as you are with your claim.
Even for the sake of argument, if we assume you are right, still that means Rafiq/Ziaul would also score more than our top 7 batsman in the team in that game. Therefore even in your scenario, Rakibul wan not the problem in that game.... our front 7 batsman were. That's where we lost the game. A Juniad/Imrul/Alok woudn;t save us that game.

When our top order (who ever then end up with) start perfroming consistenly, at that point there will be no need for a player like rakibul may be.... but now complaining the inclusion of rakibul is pointless. To me complaining about a player who just scored 18 runs with SR 155, is not where our complain should be .... our complain should be our fragile top order filled with so called dashing batsman who fails more often than not.

And thanks but no thanks... for now I would rather stick with "Stupid selectors and coach"... they are not perfect.... but I have no problem sticking with Rakibul for now a little longer before figuring out our main issue ..... our fragile and paper tiger top order in T20.

I have no doubt about Siraji's intelligence.
It was just a fluke, and Roq’s contribution counted for nothing because it did not win us the match.
Remember intelligence is permanent (class), and the form is temporary.
