is there anyone left, please anyone but Shahadat in the ODIs. I wonder if the selectors would be brave enough to pick someone like Alauddin Babu. Farhad Reza I suppose could be an option, others could be Kazi Kamrul the left armer, Al Amin, Abu Jayed, Dollar, Sajidul,

you just mentioned quite few, imo all would be worth a try ahead of shahadat. so yes, there are plenty left.

I know Razzak's test bowling is not as good as his one day but still I think we can have some faith on him.

Got an article on Shoaib Ali, the 'Tiger' fan. His story is really inspiring.

Default Srilanka ODI team for the first two match has been declared

Sri Lanka left-arm spinner Rangana Herath has been rested for the first two games of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, which begins on March 23. Mahela Jayawardene missed out as he is yet to fully recover from a fracture to the middle finger of his left hand. Dilshan was included in the 16-man squad, but his involvement is subject to recovery from a quadriceps strain he has sustained in the ongoing Test series, chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya said.

Twenty-three-year-old batsmen Angelo Perera and Kithuruwan Vithanage earned call-ups, having both impressed in Sri Lanka's List A tournament, as well as the first-class competition. Vithanage had also debuted in Tests against Bangladesh in Galle. Allrounder Sachith Pathirana, also 23, also has a place in the 16-man squad.

Herath rested for Bangladesh ODIs, should give BD batters some extra breathing space.

He got playing a stupid shot. Okay everyone has a brain fart moment in their life. But I am really upset what he did afterwards by throwing his bat which landed on Chandimal's leg. Luckily Chandimal was too busy celebrating otherwise things could have led to an on-field argument. Jahurul should apologise to Chandimal and all cricket fans.

Anyone else a little worried about the chopper ride? I hope they all have emergency parachutes just in case the worst was to happen.
