simply unbelievable, specially after the way Gombhir has been praising Sakib & NArayon, this KKR only looks for the big names, not the performer.

First over was poor from Shakib. Conceded two unnecessary boundaries by bowling outside leg a la Razzak. But he has come back strongly in his second over and took out Simmons. Hope he outperforms Narine.

Morkel is not the best fielder in the team. One hit him and raced for four. The other he just looked as it crossed him. That is 6/7 extra runs if he stops them.

Shouldn't be bowling there in the first place with the fielder inside the circle. All the batsman has to do is get a touch to it and help it on it's way either side of the fielder. Simmons is an average batsmen that's why he didn't dispatch it more emphatically. But Shakib came back strongly after that first over. The pitch really suited his action.
Overall it's the same story again with Shakib. Top class bowling but batting leaves a lot more to be desired.

Great win for Kalkutta, it could be the same on the tie match against RCB if only there were someone with Shakib, like today 10 deschoete did with Yusuf P.

Mumbai thrashing Royals. Hahaha!!! Forgot to change captain. Well, Watson got zero points so no harm done.

wasn't specifically intended to be an IPL team though they've all played IPL haven't they?
i looked at yuvi but chose others ahead of him...gul, i didn't realise his record was so good, on par with malinga and starc, hard to pick one over the other.
