Default UK BCs Please Help

I will be in Chiswick Park for a week to attend a training then want to visit my aunt's family (specially uncle who is suffering from Blood Cancer) in Stansted. Can any of you help me by guiding what would be the easiest (and cheapest) way to travel to Stansted from Chiswick Park (London)? Also would appreciate if you can guide me what would be interesting to see/do from 5PM to 10PM during weekdays near around Chiswick Park.

This is the best solution that I can think of:

Walk to Chiswick Park tube station
Take the District Line towards Upminster: 30 mins
Get down at Embankment and walk to Charing Cross tube station: 10 mins
Take the Southern British Rail towards Caterham Rail Station: 20 mins
Get down at Forest Hill and walk to Stanstead: 10 mins

The whole journey shudnt take more than an hour and 10 minutes.
Sorry..no idea about interesting stuffs in Chiswick Park are though. Take care.

Miraz bhai seems to love hosting people. Is this love biased towards some members or is it the same for all of us.:p
It is very refreshing to see you so enthusiastic about hosting people. Seriously it is a very rare trait nowadays.

Thank you so much. I will keep this in mind (in fact, in pocket) as an option.

Do you guys know any free route-plan website for London/Stansted? (Like one we have in Denmark is Krak.dk ).
