Well... take it easy bro, all of them are wishing you all the best on your desire, and as I felt, Hatebreed is also doing just that. And you surely read Z-bhai completely wrong!
Anyway...my greetings to you also on that.

Keyboard finger slip??
ahmed_B,
Please tell me what did I write? What was wrong, if anything in any of the posts that I made in this thread??
And why is Sorry's part of the post referring to me got edited.. I read that part before.. He was asking me about guitar playing and how he used to play it during his undergrad......unless he changed it?
WHy is every single moderators after me apparently for no good reason? are you guys that bored?
Don't you think you guys are over doing it? Do you people really wanna hear my unfiltered opinion? (oh I am sorry this is a G-(adha)/ -(ay) rated forum...
I think you guys are having hard time coping with increasing number of memebers and you can't accept changes just like any typical old people.
Recent thread of Oracle about healthy forum..... what is this man talking about?
Your posts making a burden on members? Which memebers? Burden on whom? Oracle?
Obviously he doesn't share the same taste as hundreds of other members that are browsing here everyday. If threads are not of any interest to anyone, why are they replied to?? Somebody is obviously enjoying it.....
Why are moderators jumping in when no one reported anything? I can't express my opinion just because it's gonna hurt somebody's feelings...? What is this Oprah club??
The problem I feel is that some particular member do not ENJOY forget cricket section as much as he/they used to.... Whose fault is that? It's not that people are going away seeing galagali (I do not see any such thing).....and about "personal attacks" - it would be very naive to think people do not talk like that in real life.. .EVERYONE DOES!! it's called socializing... people bicker - it's natural instinct........
People going away is not the problem, I think the problem is more people are coming in and some body just can't handle this change... and blaming it on whomever they can.....
If there is a problem.. tackle it! You have some thousand members and you expect Forget cricket to NOT contain all types of discussions??? If you figured there are too many Religious and Political posts (DISCUSSIONS), then there must be members who are interested in them.. right?? (talking about some stupid agenda??)
You can do two things:
1) Ban all types of religious and political discussion.. no exception whatsoever
2) Create another forum for that subject.. Religion / Politics....
Ofcourse increasing members will increase "burden" on Forget Cricket...
Everyone isn't gonna like everything... Figure out how everyone can be happy.. instead of trying to force some silly rules that change constantly... and are too vague.....so moderators can do whatever they feel at whim....
Why don't all of you put some of your statues up here so we can all puja it!! Ooo the greats of Banglacricket, we ask for forgiveness!!!
ooo let's see, you gonna delete this post.. lock it up? Stay in denial...
Typical chinaman response "issue not for discussion"
Next thread "we are all about transparency"
Orpheus: That sounds like a double standard...
"you are temporarily banned - should you apologize, you will be permitted again"
Please give us a break!!......

I didnt get it wrong if it was directed at me. I think DJ Sahastra understood my reactions.
Since Dr. Z clarified that it wasnt directed at me, I have taken no offence and my thanks giving post should imply that.
The idea of this thread was to have some fun but it looks like this is heading in different direction.
And if you cant discriminate the post between RazabQ, Orpheus, Hatebreed and Dr. Z, I have no further comments.

Hmm...
Now, hold on there a second. This is getting curiouser and curiouser and like the Cheshire cat, my grin is disappearing. I am wondering why would a PSA about adoption would have given offence?
Am I missing something here?

It's actually an issue that needs to be talked about on its own. I wondered why all those childless couples ( especially bangali) that i have met did not see it as a viable and morally right option. I guess it comes down to ingrained predjudices and social views (unhealthy) that still lingers. Anyway, my pressumptions may be outdated here, so correct me if I am wrong.
Similarly, I also wonder why the overwhelming number of Korean kids adopted by Americans?
|
Thanks BC for helping me find my new year's resolution.
My resolution is to invent a cheaper Fair and Lovely so that the Americans adopt more orphan Desi kids instead of Korean Kids since most of us do not even like to think about it.

My new years eve resolution was to stop smoking. Yes I did quit way back, but took up one or two cigars a day, instead. Anyway, haven't had one since mid night.
My second one is not to make any posts on this or any forum during my studies. I did allright with a 3.3 GPA this term, but I can do better. Am aiming for 4.0, but will be happy with 3.7. That means an hour a day more of studying!
School starts Jan 9th, so I hope I make it. Maybe you guys can p**s me off some more to make sure I don't come back! You are all doing a crap*y job by being nice to me. Hatebreed's kinda getting close, but not really. And he made it up in his u2u.
Ok, hopefully won't see you till April.
Ciao! (Spelled it right this time Navrene!)
